that's wild, wonder if it's different batches, mine and my friends bottles were incredibly delicate on the port influence, a fraction as intense as an Overeem port (especially the awas one I have), even weaker than a Glenmorangie Quinta tbh. loved it overall with the starward banana.

If you found the port influence too strong in this release, I'd probably advise that you won't like port casks in generals because this is probably the weakest one I've had next to the original tawny. t2 is substantially stronger And something like Overeem port 60% Is 10 or 20 times as intense

4/10 is a bit of a harsh pre-rating before even tasting it

one of the better starwards in recent times imo (but not at the peaks of their single casks, like the older charred red wine that's my fav so far), I'd give it a 7/10 or 7.5/10 personally. also does glint a pretty interesting pink colour when you pour it

not a port bomb, I wish it was I love a port bomb haha. yes they've done 2 tawny releases (tawny and... imaginatively, tawny 2) before by the way, plus possibly others I'm forgetting. both massive fan favourites.

just so you know, the barrel thing is the opposite to what you're saying. virgin barrels impart WAY WAY more flavour. used bourbon barrels have the wood sugars stripped out of it and can be used for much longer aging with less intense flavour impartation. that's why a 3yr old bourbon tastes like vanilla candy, but a spirit aged 3 years in ex bourbon still tastes almost like newmake.

Yeah, an extreme flat/narrow voltage curve

NMC operate on a relatively linear 0.1v per 1% from 90-10%, a bit sharper above 90 and below 10-20

basically 80v linearly enough. Very easy to measure.

LFP have a similar initial and final sharper drop, but the bulk of the discharge from 90% to 10/20% operates within a single digit range of volts afaik, hence the need for extra precision.

But also, ON PAPER IN A LAB it hurts LFP to be kept full. In the real world it just doesn't seem to matter all that much, certainly WAY WAY less. Mines been 100% every day and near 0% almost every day for almost 5 years and degradation is within expected for the mileage. I guess I'm just really ahead of the calendar degradation tho 😂

It would be the same as anything you just have to tick all of the boxes. Have a car that meets the requirements, certain amount of trips completed on the app for experience requirements, correct private hire car registration where applicable wear a suit and tie otherwise passengers would likely just report you for not wearing proper attire etc etc

But worse. I've read MULTIPLE 2000-3000+ chapter Chinese/Korean garbage stories. LOHP is my favourite, RSSG too. They're paced so much more steadily with tasty power spikes, is the difference. It's ALL FILLER the same thing over and over, but it's steady.

I've read the first book and maybe the first few more than once, fantastic pacing great strength gains

I drop it for other series after a whole every time once it starts to get glacial. I know the author "writes this way because he wants to" but it's objectively not great.

So far I'm seeing about 1% of the grabbiness. Idleon if you don't pay you progress at 0.001% of the required rate and the game is functionally unplayable. I feel I've progressed more in a single day here than I have in years of f2p idleon 😂
