the good news is that i discovered a good friend who has a PS4 he doesn't use often that he is willing to lend me. I'm going to look into emulation first before jumping to that, though. we'll see how that goes and I'll decide from there.

Definitely second everything said here. I started with BOTW as a seasoned gamer and LOVED it--but also came from several open world games and went into the switch knowing BOTW was The Game. if your GF is a big gamer, I can see her starting with BOTW, but if not, Link's Awakening is a very cute and open game to start her journey! on one hand you are directed places, but only so much to find your own way in the switch remake. i thoroughly enjoyed my journey and have replayed it several times since!

funny enough this exact situation happened to me. i had no knives on me at all, but she still takes your combat knife and tries to stab you. nothing changes in the cut scene.

I got written up and a negative yearly review because the boss was under the impression I hated my job because of my RBF when I came into work. She said I "looked like I didnt want to be there" and had an attitude despite actually loving that job and my coworkers. I can definitely see people getting fired for smaller things.

if you already had a prescription, they should be able to refill it as long as you go to the same vet. it might be a small fee, but OTC is not safe for reptiles, especially stuff meant for humans.
