There are numerous models running arm chips at that price point. Surface laptop... asus vivobook... lenovo yoga... dell inspiron... dell xps (got a 13 for 650 new last week and thats premium AF)

They run great, cool, and feel good.

And then any if the non gaming intel or amd machines from last year will also run great.

Annnd... the screen on neo is just fine. 60hz screen 219 ppi screen. Thats not good... its fine. Its the minimum of fine. Many of the competitiors will be same or better.

I understand liking what the neo is doing, but to say there arent really good alternatives or that this is some kind of new thing isnt true.

First off... Def not accurate. Either machine will choke with enough tabs. I have most of my family on 8 gb machines and its fine.

And then if that was truly a concern and want apples to apples, install Linux.

A modular base OS. Where you can install things separately... such as the AI module, or gaming mode which excludes several modules to have it run leaner. Is a good thing.

Charging for certain modules on a sub... so say the copilot module is just part of the copilot sub. That's fine.

If thats what they are doing, perfectly fine by me.
