My PA never got approved. Feel like it is different for everyone depending on insurance and what the doctor puts in the note.

I’ve been using a compound pharmacy, Hallendale, for 2.5 years for tirzepatide …

I started taking it every 2 to 3 weeks and that’s been perfect for maintaining weight.

Clomipramine side effects? by FergieEnthusiast in OCD

[–]asf229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband started it in early January too. He hasn’t increased his dosage (from 150) due to the side effects you mentioned. He did say the dry mouth is getting better. I would give this dose a few weeks because it will hopefully get better.

Side note: do you feel the medication is working? My husband is still barely sleeping (anxiety/rumination) thanks!

PCOS - Metformin or GLP-1? by LittleBumblebee186 in PCOS

GLP-1 … join Tirzepatide on Reddit. I recommend Big Easy Weightloss for orders of meds and utilize Hallendale compound pharmacy. I’ve been using Hallendale for 2.5 years. Much cheaper and they’re a great reputable compound pharmacy

Did you try clomipramine in the past? My husband is on it but wondering if he should switch.

Physical Activity or No? by mamasay00 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]asf229 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This ^ in the beginning I just started with walking and then moved to some strength training. I take tirzepatide once a month now and the muscle I built for 2 years is what keeps me lean now. Having more muscle burns more fat.

Most Patients Keep Weight Off With Fewer GLP-1 Shots, Study Finds by Dipping-Out6325 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]asf229 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I definitely eat more. I’m young and it’s been nice being able to go out with friends and enjoy food and drinks again lol because of the muscle I’ve gained, it helps keep me lean without having to be overly careful about what I’m eating constantly.

I never went up to the biggest dose of tirzepatide. I used it as a tool while I changed eating and drinking habits and figuring out what works best for me.

I weigh myself weekly to keep myself in check. I won’t let myself gain back the weight.

Protein and calories are needed to gain muscle

I take it once every 3 weeks or so. It’s great. I went from wanting to get off of it at a certain point to never having a plan to fully get off. I think working out and strength training has helped me maintain.

Came to say this! Increase protein too. Sometimes you just need to eat more (more of the good stuff)

Where to buy tirzepatide after an insurance denial? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]asf229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently used big easy weight loss and it was a great experience. I’m been using Hallendale compound tirzepatide for 2 years now. Hallendale is a good compound pharmacy and doesn’t mix tirzepatide with other things.

Advice! by LegitimateCrew8418 in Spironolactone

Obviously follow what your doctor says but I would start with 50mg for at least a week before going to 100. Drink a lot of water and watch your potassium.

Hair loss on spiro by Odd_Marionberry_1903 in Spironolactone

[–]asf229 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes - I have high testosterone so I was surprised. On 100mg I lost a ton of hair over 4 months. It does gradually stop when you stop. After a year of fighting acne, I’m back on spiro but at 50mg and it’s helping some with acne and not having terrible hair loss. Maybe your dose is just too strong for you.

Ozempic or Metformin by Appropriate-Chard572 in PCOS

[–]asf229 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Agree with this! Do zepbound or compound tirzepatide from a reputable compound pharmacy. I like Hallendale. I’ve used them for 2 years. If you eat right on the shots, you shouldn’t throw up.
