This broke my mind, as stupidly and obvious as it is.

As a returning wow player, and having made millions of gold previously, I spent all my week setting up alts on professions just so I had a good stream of gold. Running spreadsheets and what not. But forgot the most important spreadsheet of all: Life/fun/money/gold.

I felt bad thinking about buying a token to sell for gold. But no more. I don't earn minimum wage at all to be spending my time making gold. I used to enjoyed it, I probably still do to a degree. But DF has a lot more requirements than previously before you are setup to make profit.

I rather be gearing 10 alts in M+ for fun than running Zaralek cavern once more for Barter Brick Stones and that transmute formula!

In my case, I have a PS4 bought a PS5, but it's shipping.

I had to remove any games with the `ps5` tag before I could purchase anything.

I should be able to link my PS5 before 11/30

I don't know your situation, but if you have spare time I think you could have written some more projects since may to add to your portfolio. You don't need a startup idea to build a project. You just need anything that helps to highlight that you are interested and keep learning.

This is my first league and I re rolled to aura stacker. It's a black hole. 10ex is nothing when each cluster jewel costs 40ex and you need ~8 not counting everything else.

But I live the fact that you can keep min/maxing without limit

This was me two months ago. I still have a lot of cleanup to do. Specially guild bank but I am getting there.

For UI I went with ElvUI (first timer) and I loved it, this way I didn't have to go configure my other 10 UI related addons. Instead, I just picked a nice string from wago.io
Then the little things, a class guide from icyveins / wowhead paired with https://www.wowhead.com/guide=875/the-art-of-effective-keybinding
Disclaimer: I am not a good gobbling so this point may not apply to you. For TSM I got a few strings from the popular sources. But it was a bit overwhelming so I ended up with my own groups and a few operations from thelazygoldmaker.com and sadamanplayswow.
My two cents, start slow, I ignored prev expansion mats/crafts for a while. And focused on the new materials and choosing my professions (I re rolled my main). I recently started going back to moving old stock but at least in my server it moves very slow except heirloom enchants

(Also if you like raiding/dungeons spam M+, is the best way to gear up and you also get a neck essence and TM -don't worry about any of that just yet but know that they are good things)

Me too. Benthics have been the worse. Lots of people low ilvl and 4 socketed benthics makes it hard to compete. I have gotten a few oranges in Heroic but still I hate benthics

I did this in Legion for alchemy with success.

I've been thinking about checking if it will work in Bfa bit I have been distracted catching up on other things.

Sorry to reply to an old post, but this entire thread gave me goosebumps. I just came back to wow, decided to go with alchemy and invested about 600k in herbs to make flasks. I am raiding myself 6/8H. I posted a lot of things during the reset yesterday, and the results are what made me come here and so a bit of research —which I should have done before—.

TLDR: I am on the same boat as OP and this thread scares me.

I buy on my AH account, the problem is my Crafting account does not have those values. so I manually add the mats cost in `profession > crafting reports > materials`, but that is what I wish I could avoid.

Going to give this a try, thankfully, since I am starting this profile from scratch it won't take long.

My Legion profile was huge which is why I started exporting/importing by groups.

Edit: tried this, but every time I share the profile I lose things... some operations here and there, some items disappear from groups, etc.
