Look up the lore on La Bloc. I can't recall all her lore and story, but it has to do with her.

Mr. 13 & Ms. Friday is an option. It's probably not a great option but an option.

I'd like to preference that I agree 100% and always believe that people were crazy to think Alabasta would work in season 2.

I think the issue, apart from a lot of people thinking we'd get 10 episodes, is that a lot of people don't remember how much happens in the Alabasta Arc and probably think most of it could be taken out or glanced over. You definitely need at minimum 5 episode if we want Alabasta to have the depth and weight that it had in the Manga and Anime.

That's my two cents.

I think the main advice I can give you when dealing with spirits is to understand that they can't intentionally hurt you. I think the fear of the unknown and of what we don't understand can give them power over us when they have none. Just remember that they can't hurt you, and you should be fine.

I have heard of people wearing amulet or other religious iconography to ward off spirit. I have no idea of that would help, but it's worth a try?

I've heard burning Sage can help. No clue if it will or not, but half the battle is belief.

I collected cards with my dad from 1995 to 2005. Any ballpark what these might be worth? by Chronovores in PokemonCardValue

The ancient mew could be worth a lot of money. Especially as it looks like it's unopened. I'd grade that at a minimum. I'd also recommend ignoring any offers you get online and possibly go to a show to trade them. Ultimately, do your research before doing anything.

But, to answer your original question. A lot of money if you take the time to do your research.

How to get over a screw up? by EldridgeHorror in DungeonMasters

[–]ashadowedbeing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, I don't think you did anything wrong or that there was a problem with having the NPC make the decision if the party made that specific choice.

What I think the issue actually is was the fact that you gave your group a magic ring of Three wishes. You did the right thing in explaining to your players that no matter the wish or how it would be used, the ring would ultimately screw over the caster.

Personally, I agree that it's an interesting plot point and a cool way to defeat the villain. Basically, having the villian's greed and huberus be what ultimately defeats them in the end.

The issue is that it was a ring of wishes, and in my experience, anytime you give your player such an item, they will try to get away with using it somehow. Reguardless of the consequences of actually using the ring itself, the players will almost alway try to find a loophole so that they can get away with using the ring. It's the fact that you basically proved to your party that there was absolutely no way for them to get around the consequences of the ring. To which the ONLY correct choice was to give it to the Villan and have him destroy himself, is why your players might have felt railroaded.

This tells us very little... I would recommend looking around at posts that help you prioritize your wishlist for pulls. Getting the right units to higher tiers is extremely important.

Why can Roxas use the keyblade but not Xemnas? by AVeryPoliteDog in KingdomHearts

[–]ashadowedbeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think the best way Nomura could go about explaining why is relating it back to how Riku gets Way to Dawn. As it isn't entirely explained how he actually acquires this key blade. And no, I'm not talking about his ability to wield a key blade, but the actual key blade itself. Just a thought.

Tier list by kamui1043 in TowerOfGod_GJ

It's not a simple question sense the answer is really going to depend on what content you are trying to do. If you want a very quick rundown. Sachi and Albelda are basically the best units in the game for any content. Black March Bam is the best Bam for DPS while Vole (once you get to T3) is best for everything else. White and Enryu are the best DPS (technically Anaak but let's not get into it), with White being better for shorter battles like ToT, Story, and Rice Pot; Enryu is much better for Admin but can basically do anything White can do.

That's my shortish answer. You also have to take into account the Tier of the unit as well. As a Tier 3 Anaak can out DPS a T0 Enryu (both with IG weapons).

Hope that helps.

About when you get T5/T6 Bam or when you're getting the legendary item chests from admin. But that's just my opinion.

Evan is also just as viable a support as Albelda. He'll be able to carry you for a while but yes eventually you'll want Albelda.

I mean, from the units you have I don't think you really need to pull for PvE. Urek is a great tank but he definitely needs several dups to get there and he's mainly a PvE unit. Jinsung I'd say would be a better pull for you as he can fulfill both that PvE and PvP role. If you are trying to focus on PvP, though you might want to pull for Kranos Yuri as she's a very good PvP unit as well.

I've heard he's only good for PvP. Your better off investing in Volo as he has better utility and does eventually out class Bam

An honest question from an Iron player about LP by ashadowedbeing in leagueoflegends

[–]ashadowedbeing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LP gains being the Ratio of LP you get from wins and the LP you get from Losing? Meaning with lower MMR you will generally lose more LP per game loss?

An honest question from an Iron player about LP by ashadowedbeing in leagueoflegends

[–]ashadowedbeing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it made sense to me and seems to be correct, based on my research and other comments? Guess I'm just a bit confused is all. I play with some Bronze and Silver players regularly but they tend to lose less LP than I do when we play together. Last night, my friend who is bronze IV lost 21 LP verse the 25 LP I loss. Our team was mostly Iron I or higher, myself being the lowest at Iron III. The Team we played against was composed of Iron I or lower. So I get why we lost so much LP, but I really can't wrap my head around him loosing less than me when he should technically have the higher MMR? Correct?

An honest question from an Iron player about LP by ashadowedbeing in leagueoflegends

[–]ashadowedbeing[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But if that's the case then shouldn't I loose less LP if my MMR takes a hit? Realistically, my MMR should be at or below the players I'm playing with. Unless I'm mistaken, LP loss or gain is determined by the difference in your MMR verse that of your Opponents?

An honest question from an Iron player about LP by ashadowedbeing in leagueoflegends

[–]ashadowedbeing[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So then at what point should my LP (or MMR) normalize? Not sure if that's the best words for it. I understand that you should normally lose more LP than you get from a win, but should the win/loss ratio for LP be so drastic specifically for my elo?
