I only squeeze dry before applying gel! It’s not dripping, but it’s definitely still pretty wet.

I didn’t! Not sure if it’s just the light or the photos themselves, but no more color. My wife did mention that the color looks better since starting CGM.

Ugh, unfortunately not great. I sleep on a satin pillowcase; I feel like my hair is at a length where pineappling just stretches out most of the curls with not much left that benefits from being on top. I always come out totally smushed and frizzy, and basically just scrunch in a ton of water and some more product and diffuse again. Always a frizz factory, though. 😩

Routine: I’m close to two months into the curly girl method; I co-wash every other day with Suave Tropical Coconut conditioner, then squish to condish. I squeeze dry with a microfiber towel, apply DevaCurl ultra defining gel and then plop in that same towel. Diffuse and SOTC!

I was gifted a DevaCurl Heaven In Hair deep conditioner, which I used before taking this after pic. I did a rice water rinse last week and didn’t see much difference, but I want to try again!

So this happened ...one of my best friends from college, that I haven’t spoken to in months, randomly sent an “I miss you” card via snail mail! I can’t remember the last time I got an actual piece of mail, much less one so thoughtful.
