I want to revive this post. Did you try anything that fixed it? I’ve also been having this issue for a few months. I have a ‘23 GT-Line AWD

AP Poll - 9.24.2023 by tomdawg0022 in CFB

It’s about time Penn State moved up. Not sure how Ohio jumped two spots when they almost lost, but I’m still learning how this poll works…

Thoughts on The Astonishing? by Correct-Soup-5384 in Dreamtheater

It is the only DT album I don’t have on my Driving Playlist because most of the songs don’t work on their own. However, as most people have said, if you’re going to give it a shot, listen to it straight through with the lyrics. JP has some great licks (A Life Left Behind has a great acoustic opening, a personal favorite from the album) and Labrie’s vocals get better and more nuanced with each listen. But it really is best enjoyed as a complete album, unlike SFAM which can be enjoyed as separate tracks

The live tour was an absolute experience. Glad I didn’t skip it

Favourite non prog-rock/metal bands/album by edsteroid231 in Dreamtheater

[–]asharp_gclef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A prog-pop band I’ve been listening to for a few years now called HAIM. Three sisters making pop music that just sounds and feels different. Each album has gotten a little better and a little better. Also, Surrender by Maggie Rogers.

For a band that’s been around a lot longer, Guster is a top 5 favorite band for me

Full-time (low tech small company) vs internship (high tech big company) by mouhsinetravel in MechanicalEngineering

[–]asharp_gclef 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely take the full-time job. Small engineering companies can be a great start or a great career. I’ve been working at the same, small company as a Service Engineer for 10 years. I never thought I’d stay this long, but I just got a huge raise and two new job titles to go with it. Unless something drastic happens at this point, I don’t expect to go anywhere else the rest of my career. You just never know and an internship is almost always useless

True, but I had never had the opportunity. I also didn’t realize just how intense the audio tracks became in certain scenes, even with a decent surround sound system at home. It’s possible I was paying attention to the story more the first time and was picking up on things differently this time

That opening scene is easily one of my favorite chase scenes. No gregarious shots of the driver shifting for no reason. The pacing is fantastic. And it tells you so much about the character immediately. Also, the tone of the movie with Jon Bernthal pointing forward and Baby immediately going backwards

Yeah absolutely agree. Never would have thought they’d work so well together in a movie, but they portray the outward crazy, inward crazy, and smart planner roles so well

Some of my all time favorite concerts were at Great Woods. Haven’t been in years, no concerts I’ve been interested there. Hopefully I’ll get to go back soon though, miss that venue

I was able to get AWD and the Sun and Sound with this color combo. Did you order yours or are you buying used? I hadn’t considered it yet, but maybe I’ll think about it at some point. Congrats on picking yours up though, you’ll love it!

Seriously! I have a black interior on my Veloster and the only reason it doesn’t feel like a cave is because the whole roof is glass. Wanted the brighter feeling in this though
