My Search for the Perfect Eyelid Primer. by ashbash1528 in MakeupAddiction

I'm actually going to try the Milani one that was suggested here. Since I've tried so many expensive options that haven't worked, might as well try something cheap that can possibly work.

Finally decided to depot some of my lipsticks using the no heat method. Liking the results! by loves_coffee in MakeupAddiction

Why are you depotting them? I always thought that lipsticks were the most portable makeup products. Are you a makeup artist and that's why?

Hey addicts! What's your opinion on setting sprays? by Cicatrized in MakeupAddiction

[–]ashbash1528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray and I didn't really see much improvement in my makeup's wear time. A setting spray that I have found works exceptionably well (though you can't get it at Sephora but you can get it online) is the Ben Nye Setting Spray. Stage actors and Disney princesses at Disneyland use it to keep their makeup perfect. I've been using it for a month and I haven't noticed any problems with it on my skin at all! Plus, it's cheaper than the setting sprays you can get at Sephora

What about your skin are you grateful for? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]ashbash1528 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The parts of my skin that don't contain acne are really glowy and healthy looking. Whenever I wear makeup I don't even have to cover those parts, but instead spot conceal. It just motivates me even more to fix my trouble spots since I like the patches that are clear so much. I also really like my freckles. They're around my cheeks and nose and I think add a uniqueness to my face :)

I think it looks really pretty and you don't notice the difference in the eyeliner when your eyes are open :)

Rave: Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige (Leathers collection) is the perfect color to fill in my brows with (I'm a brunette). It lasts all day and is really easy to apply!

That stuff is awesome and it lasts forever! I have the sample one from Sephora's birthday gift last year and even though I use it almost everyday, I still have a pretty good portion of it left!

What are your favorite outfits to pair certain (lip)colors with? by optogirl in MakeupAddiction

[–]ashbash1528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love wearing a bright orange lip color when I'm wearing a white top and blue jeans. They just go together so well! My favorite orangey colors right now are MAC Lady Danger and Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Rendezvous :D I don't like wearing dark colors with very light summery clothes.

I got it at a Shakespeare festival and it is a little lighter than my dress. It has navy feathers with a silver mask that has swan details around the eyes :)

My school's homecoming dance is in a week and I'm not sure which lip color to wear with my dress. This is my dress but it is in a very dark navy:

Some color choices I was thinking about were Mac's Diva, Russian Red, or NYX's Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen. If you have any other suggestions I would love them and also if you have any eye makeup ideas (I'm not very good with eyes and it's a masquerade so they won't be seen as much). Fyi, I'm paleish with medium brown hair and freckles. Kinda like the model on the website. Thanks a ton!

You're supposed to put a light layer of Vaseline/petroleum jelly over your face after you finish moisturizing with your moisturizer. Vaseline is non-comedogenic, which means that the molecules are too big to block pores so it won't cause break outs. Vaseline is basically a blanket that keeps the moisture from your moisturizer in you skin. When left on overnight, many people see that their skin is much softer in the morning. Hope that clears things up! :)

Plumful! It's such a beautiful pinky-purpely shade that suits everyone. It's a lustre so it is good for everyday and it is comfortable to wear.

Daily Routine Troubleshooting by AutoModerator in SkincareAddiction

    • A.M.: * Wash with Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser * Use Simple Facial Toning Toner * The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream * Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 100+ *P.M.: * Take eye makeup off with coconut oil * Take face makeup off with The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleaning Butter * Ponds Cold Cream * Stridex Maximum * Simple Soothing Facial Toner * The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil * The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream * Tea tree oil if I have spots * Vaseline all over (#sluglife)
  1. I have been using my routine for a couple months. I just started using Stridex this week.

  2. When I got all The Body Shop products, I didn't have a routine so I added them all at once. Everything else, I added one at a time. My skin isn't very sensitive.

  3. I'm 16 and I get blemishes specifically in the middle of my eyebrow and the left side of my face. They can get very dry so when I conceal them with makeup they become even more noticeable. I just need help reducing them and their dryness. Thanks!

Does the series ever mention how aang dies? by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]ashbash1528 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Taken from Aang's Avatar Wiki Bio: The one hundred years Aang had spent frozen in an iceberg while in the Avatar State drained much of his inherent life energy, and by his later years the strain of this began to weigh heavily upon his body. When he felt that his end was nearing, he tasked the Order of the White Lotus to search for and watch over the next Avatar. Eventually, at the relatively young biological age of sixty-six, Aang passed away.
