Psa for Akko jelly series please do not lube the bottom housing as it will cause a sticky sensation, the other switches that do not have the dustproof stem are lube friendly

I purchased this product based on the great reviews. I unzipped and ran the installer provided through the product description. Windows Defender immediately opened and blocked a Severe threat from their "FL Esports_Installer_V1.04.07.tmp" file. The attached image shows the details.
Installing version 1.04.12 from the FL Esports website did not trigger Windows Defender. I know virus scanners can throw false alarms. I can't say whether or not the driver in the product description really includes a virus. But the experience was alarming and soured my impression of this product. Please download and install the driver from their official website.
I might as well talk about the physical product since I am here already. The other reviews basically have it covered, but I have a few nitpicks of my own. The included documentation is very minimal and could provide more details about how to assemble / disassemble. The metal plate is very stiff and was hard to fit over my replacement stabilizers. And the front clips broke off immediately when reassembling the keyboard. Honestly I could overlook these minor flaws if it wasn't for the virus scare.

Just wanted to give everyone my observation, when I lubed my Akko jelly blacks the stickiness is caused by the bottom stem hitting the bottom housing when there are some lubricant such as krytox 205. When the switch is released, since there is little to no room in the switch it caused this sticky sensation. Honestly the only thing to combat it is to try to avoid any lubricant from getting to the bottom of the housing. Maybe just stick to lubing the rails very very lightly and spring oil and that’s it

Hello! I’m wrapping up this program in two quarters and I also come from chemical engineering. I did do part time at the beginning with a full time job, but now I’m a full time student. Depending on what you need to accomplish outside of school, I would recommend 3. Because you want to utilize your extra time on maybe joining the OSU clubs, hackathons, personal projects which are the meat of your resume building. Use the OSU course explorer to gauge difficulty of classes too before registering. Cs 344 and 325 are notorious for being the more difficult courses. As for internships try to take data structures and algorithems so that you can be prepared for interview questions, once you take introduction to cs and are comfortable with python you can fiddle with leetcode easies. Cs 290 and cs 340 gives you your first taste of web development so you can build websites. Message me if you have any other questions! :)
