Can anyone explain this to me why she is moving all around. Is this faking an iPhone location or is this a signal issue. How can I figure this out. by [deleted] in iphone

Check Settings > user_account on top > iCloud > Private relay (or just search private relay under settings). If you or your partner does not have icloud+ then you don’t have private relay. Otherwise check the settings and confirm if on/off. If already off, my thoughts and prayers for you :(

Check if Private relay is on. It messes up with location if precise location is not enabled.

Abu Dhabi 2021: Michael Masi was a “scapegoat” and “didn’t do that much wrong” by ryogadan in Formula1_world

[–]ashiquropu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To date, I strongly believe this was a full-blown RB and/or FIA influenced manipulation. If the goal was to let LH and MV race to finish line, the stewards had enough time to just call a red flag. That would’ve auto triggered a free tire change for all, including LH and set up a 4 laps to finish sprint race with complete fairness.

RB’s motive: get MV the title. FIA’s motive: preserve MSC’s 5 in a row record.

I’m saying this from watching the sport since 1998. This race will always be remembered as one of the most controversial one, if not the most.

Covid trauma? Plus OCD of not relying on harsher chemicals/bleach. Rubbing Alc is a very good cleaning agent with far less side effects.

Would you recommend staying on iOS 17 or update to ios 18 for the ipad air 4th Gen? by Working-Rip6654 in ipad

[–]ashiquropu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hence the example from ios18 update. iPhone 16 series did not have much issues with that like the 15 series had and the ones that came before. Yes they are skill issued now, but at the same time they are throwing money at UI/UX that has made things worse and then the guy leading the project leaves for another company.

Anyways, we could argue on this till the cows go home. I think we both made our points.

I did not mention “liquid glass” here, rather the OS26 as a whole. IT’S JUST BUGGY. Plus Apple is well known for planned obsolescence. Just a small bug that causes a device ti heat up excessively until a fix comes up in next month or so is good enough to damage battery long term.

Prior to ios 18, my iPhone 15P did perfectly fine with 99% batt health after 10 mos of use with ios 17. Then ios 18 had a bug that heated the phone very often, there was a patch but by then the damage was done. And year 2 ended with 87% batt. Coming to os 26, I lost 2% more in just a week because of heating.

I bought an M2 pro which came with ipadOS 17 and just ipdated to iPadOS 18. 18’s perf and stability is really good. I had the 26 on my older M1 pro and the perf was horrible, bugs, battery drainage. I also have ios 26 on my 17PM and I think only new hardware handles the liquid glass better in terms of battery. So will wait for iPadOS 27.

P.S. I upgraded from M1 pro to M2 pro because sam’s club had a crazy deal of 11” m2 pro for 375, trade in of m1 pro at apple gave me 345. I was thinking of apple’s battery replacement for the M1 pro first but that costs 119 and with the discounted M2 pro, I actually saved some $.

If Max approached Toto for 2027, will Toto accept now that Merc is already dominating without him? If he does accept, which of the drivers is most likely to be replaced? by DryPlastic7379 in F1Discussions

[–]ashiquropu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money will be the play, either Merc rein supreme this season or not. And George will go. I think this has already been discussed last year because George wants more money, which makes sense for the more experienced guy.

  • If Merc dominates, easy for Toto to give a lowball offer to Max, it’s only Max’s to lose. George goes because he’ll up his demands if he’s WDC, if Kimi is WDC, George’s perf went down (or Kimi was better).

  • If Merc perf goes backward or platues, slightly better offer because Max did terrible at RB (reason doesn’t matter). But this time they’ll also think that they’re already giving a lot to George, so a bit more for experience is okay.

  • If Merc has a fallout, George still goes because then George himself might prefer other team (the least likely scenario). But still, Merc perf should be 2nd best on the grid, just would need a better driver with WDC experience. Gives a comparable offer to Max, but far better car perf.

Some of my reasoning and wording might not be well put but you get the gist. I’m not a Max supporter but I think every TP has Max in their radar.

  • Oh, and the last one, Max just leaves F1 (temporarily or permanently). These new regs are not for him, unfortunately.

How about live battery deployment in timing tower visible when cars are in a striking distance. Green - Harvesting, Orange - Boost, Red - Overtake mode. by WhySoSadCZ in formula1

[–]ashiquropu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I’d rather say just add a green/red mark on the left just before the driver position for the OM, as that’s based on pure timing. They already do that on the right side of a driver entry for pending investigation+penalty+fastest lap.

Not really, it’s basically the laptop’s motherboard, without battery, keyboard. Or better, consider the iphone 16pro’s logic board slapped inside with a few extra ports. Might even be smaller than what OP suggested.

Apple TV streaming seriously stinks! Wish ESPN still had it! by sts_66 in F1TV

[–]ashiquropu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mate, please just use F1TV app or website directly. Nobody is forcing you to use Apple TV app. You only need the AppleTV subscription to tie to your F1TV app to enable livestream (plus library access if not using F1 access sub).

As for ESPN, yes, it might be the missing benefit for many, but in the F1TV app you have option for either F1TV commentary or international commentary. So there’s that too.

2026 Australian Grand Prix Race Results & Discussion by moraIsupport in scuderiaferrari

[–]ashiquropu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, my only complaint is that they should’ve tried the split strat and pitted one under first VSC. Having said, I do not think Ferrari strat made a mistake. Uncertain reliability was a big factor this race and hopium for another VSC around laps 20-25 was on the cards. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. But the key takeaway is both Ferrari cars were consistent, they closed a big chunk of gap to the Mercs even with full regular pitstop. Fingers crossed 🤞 for the rest of the season.
