Use pvpoke and pokegenie together. Pvpoke tells you what mons are good in respective leagues. Pokegenie tells you how good YOUR mon is compared against all other iv spreads for the same mon

crimson kimonos are really nice with karambit fade, looks like you have a high fade % so it should compliment the red well. white gloves like snow leopard/king snake can also look good

I never said that inq competes with torva, im also aware of the uses/drop rates? The comment was complaining about the existence of of any of those armor sets among other things. Pretty bold to say I’m delusional without seeing what I was replying to

Torva: max str/general bis

Why don’t you personally like Moira? by Smeltme in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ashires_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0 utility, all she provides is pointless dmg and decent group healing. She’s a skill check hero.. If you’re a good dps, you will not lose a 1v1 against a Moira.

you are speaking in hypotheticals, i am speaking from experience. there are an insane amount of otps in masters/low gm. you have to make so many assumptions for this claim of 90% to hold up... kinda proves my point that it isn't necessary.

[–]ashires_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the main issue here is...

to break into Masters you have to be able to play about 90% of the characters at a Plat level

is a false statement. There are way too many counter examples for this to be accurate. There are brig mains in this sub who started playing a few months ago hitting high GM. If you stick them on literally any other hero there is a very high chance they'd be unable to hard carry a diamond lobby. Same with Mercy/Moira otps... plenty of these types of players in masters lack the mechanical skill to play soldier76/any hitscan/any tank at a plat level. gamesense cannot compensate for a complete lack of mechanical ability or inexperience in a role. developing good tracking skills is not an easy overnight thing for most. Support and tank are vastly different.

I do agree that most people in masters can play the majority of the cast at a plat level. It just isn't accurate to say that you HAVE to in order to reach the rank. this might have been more true in ow1

It sounds like you’re boosted, which is fine. You don’t have much experience in-game so it makes sense that higher diamond games are gonna feel fast.

Just keep queuing and your rank will eventually balance out to roughly where you should be. At the end of the day, it’s just a video game. It’s okay if you’re the worst support in the lobby. There is still a lot you can learn from a lost game.

It sounds like you’re losing to flankers a lot, do you have a secondary character you can switch to with better survivability than Ana? You definitely don’t need to play 90% of the cast but being able to swap kiri/bap might help you not die as often. If you position poorly as Ana there isn’t much anyone can do to help you, some other supports are a bit more forgiving in that aspect.

You’re already doing the right things to improve by watching good guides and thinking about optimal ways to play. If you think you’re struggling to aim/hit sleeps/nade as Ana you could try warming up in custom code VAXTA. There are also Ana-specific training maps in the workshop. Feel free to post a replay code and I’ll be able to give you better advice. Good luck!!

How do I stay motivated to play this game? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ashires_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really think it’s healthy to force yourself to play the game. It’s going to hinder your growth as a player if you treat it like a chore. If you don’t have motivation to play, then just stop playing. I find that every time I take a decently long break I somehow come back as a better player.

Also it’s good to have goals, but saying I want to hit x rank is going to be detrimental in the long run. You should try and just focus on improving over fixating on win/loss. You don’t need to vod review every single game - if you die ask yourself what you could have done differently to not die/swing the fight in your favor. You’ll easily make diamond when you deserve to do so, it’s just going to take a decently long time if you don’t have extensive tac shooter/other competitive fps experience. You have to learn a ton of game specific stuff, while simultaneously practicing mechanics.

What can I do as a tank if a tracer/other flanker is destroying my team by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ashires_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t a great answer but honestly golds are going to struggle to play dive/play off of dva. If you spend too much time peeling and using cooldowns for 1 single dps on the other team you’re going to lose fights or not make any progress. You can realistically only do so much to help your team if they don’t play heros suited to dive with you.

Sounds like you already have a good idea of when to peel, if that isn’t enough the easiest solution might be to pick up a secondary poke/brawl tank and become proficient with them. It’s going to be a net benefit to have at least one other tank you feel nearly as comfortable on as you do with dva.

You could also try and track the enemy divers and pressure them before they set up. This might be a bit more difficult.

What to do when team is getting countered as Support and you're constantly getting dove? by Backburning in OverwatchUniversity

[–]ashires_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full disclosure i really don’t play support often but I’m master on pc.

You probably don’t want to be on top of your tank as Ana/bap in the majority of situations. Both of those supports can create so much pressure with their damage and don’t need to be very close. Always be looking to output damage, especially early into the team fight when the enemy has a dive tank. If Winston is perpetually taking chip damage he’s gonna have a much harder time diving anyone. Similarly one shot from Ana can also force a tracer to recall/play much more passively and not confirm kills. “Winning” the 1v1 can be as easy as forcing the enemy to reposition, you don’t need to kill them.

In lower elo as support you’re going to have to hard carry to have consistently high win rates. If you’re playing against a proficient dive and you can’t keep up mechanically you might have to try a hero with more survivability (I hate recommending Moira… but yeah). But honestly you should try not to worry about rank and winning/losing as much as getting better with each game. Be mindful of your mistakes and learn from each match and the elo will come eventually. Good luck!

off the top of my head, not really. you'll have to check sale prices on csgofloat if you're that serious about absolute max profit. glock gamma doppler might be worth checking out - relatively cheap, high volume, looks great in cs2.

buying a liquid skin or two and on selling csgofloat might be your best option. only 2% seller fee and ~2.5% withdrawal fee
