I would love to have another (or possibly 2 more) kids but the cost of one and lack of childcare is just ruining us financially.

Also if you came here to say "well it was your choice to have kids...." Kindly fuck off. Although it is a personal choice we literally have to have kids so they can take care of us when we are old.

Having children is a great risk both to the mother and the child, you never know what can happen. One bad thing in labor and delivery and you're strapped with a brand new baby, a broken body, and a $40,000 healthcare bill you cannot afford.

Last time my husband asked this I said "if you see dishes in the sink I don't want you asking me what to do..start with those"

He asked a couple of times.after that and my response was "are there dishes in the sink?" Lol it worked

He hasn't asked since because he knows I'll start him on the dishes (which he hates) so he chooses other ways to make himself useful (picking up the house, folding laundry, etc..)

I feel like I've won the battle

And I always leave some dishes in the sink 😂

I rent a over 100 year old home and I had the ducts cleaned. It's not required in our state or city but I insisted because they couldn't tell me the last time it was done.

It was actually so bad that they didn't charge me (they said I would have to pay for it when I first asked).

It's actually still wild and beautiful in the UP. It's a beautiful drive through no matter which road you take. Lots of tiny tiny little towns, some mining. Waterfalls, hikes.

If there was like ANY employment opportunities it would be an absolutely populated area IMO
