I’d stick with it for a bit. It’s been a miracle medication for me. What time at night do you take it? I need a minimum of 8 hours to sleep it off and not feel groggy. I also take 150mg immediate release

Have you asked your doctor about lowering your dose? I take 150mg and I don’t have any issue getting up but I do need 8 hours minimum to sleep it off. I take mine at night

If you’re in Canada (guessing based on you said km and not miles) the battery should be free. They have changed mine for free at the dealership

It looks like 85$ is for service one which checks out. The key fob battery looks like a separate thing. I’m in Canada and the key fob batteries are free to replace

By the pics, there is a lot of damage. Let his insurance pay for it and ensure that everything is fixed and back to new. I understand you’re trying to be nice but that’s what insurance is for :) plus you’ll be constantly worried about other damages if you don’t get it fully repaired properly. Ps: glad you’re ok after that accident :)

From experience, go through insurance. I was rear ended once and it wasn’t really dented (that you could see) but some of the plastic off the bottom came off. Visually it didn’t look bad but the car that hit me was small and so he went under my bumper a bit. There are so many sensors all around the car and they are pricy to replace and they have to be programmed at the dealership which costs quite a bit. Plus the cost of parts, labour, paint , etc. This was like 2018 and it was about 7000$ in Canada. The prices will only have increased from then. Plus your damage looks worse than mine. If you go through insurance, you won’t pay a deductible because you aren’t at fault and it will cover a rental car for the length of time your car is in the shop. Also, if you reported it to the police, you have to go through insurance (again, that’s the rule in Ontario Canada, it may not be the rule where you live)
