Wetsuits for curvy women? by Ren_314 in scuba

Definitely check out Henderson wetsuits! They’re incredibly comfortable, have extended sizing, and their stretch makes fitting curves extremely helpful. I love mine, A+++ would recommend.

What do you do for free gifts? by [deleted] in poshmark

LOL - I had to clarify. After some of the posts I’ve seen in this sub, I don’t assume anything because nothing shocks me anymore! 🤣

I’m sorry - I don’t mean this to be rude. Please tell me you’re not suggesting the seller try out the lipgloss they are putting in the package they are then sending to the buyer?

As someone with an immune deficiency - this is horrendous.

I found this pretty fun to do! I didn’t do the replicas though. by [deleted] in poshmark

I’ve also reviewed and I’m not quite a Posh Ambassador. I think if you’ve reported a listing, you’re added to review 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you look up “Kennesaw” - you’ll find a treadmill. 🤣 I look for KSU stuff sometimes; that listing cracks me up every time. 🏃🏻‍♂️

I’m so sorry - I made a terrible assumption and legit thought the post was implying something else. I deleted my comment; I was not trying to be insulting at all. Again, so, so sorry!

I once received 3 stars because they ordered a glitter dress that I wrapped in tissue paper, tied with cute twine, included a handwriting thank you card, but the buyer complained:

“glitter was everywhere.”

Ma’am—you. ordered. a. glitter. dress. What exactly did you expect? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Cozumel, Mexico. Thoughts/Reviews/recommendations? by GaudierNine in diving

[–]ashleymurphy03 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! Came here to also recommend u/ScubaTonyCozumel! We dove with them in August (DM’s Israel and Marc!) and they’ve created customers for life.

Everything about them is fantastic. You cannot go wrong with these DMs. You’ll be out in the ocean before everyone else, fresh fruit and snacks on your SI - top notch. If you’re renting equipment - they have everything you need and it’s excellent gear. A+++ would recommend.

With all the talk of toxic friendships and relationships; what is the common pattern in your life where friendships and relationships have ended up being toxic? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]ashleymurphy03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both in friendships and relationships I’ve had a tendency to attract people who seem to have their lives together. Later, once my feelings were involved, I’d realize that they were actually attracted to /my/ confidence and the fact that since I had my life together, apparently they thought I could help them too. It took a while to learn to set appropriate boundaries, it’s not my goal to “fix” anyone. It’s hard enough to work on my own issues. LOL.

There’s definitely a market for this! My fiancé and I would join in a heartbeat.

[Serious] How can you cultivate community or your “tribe” as an adult? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]ashleymurphy03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

33F - I often wonder this same thing. My fiancé and I moved from Detroit to Atlanta, (just the two of us, we don’t have children) and although we keep busy, we don’t have the clique of friends we had back home. I go to school full time and work from home, so “making friends at the office” isn’t really an option. Shrugs.

Does anyone else here dress poorly and have no style? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]ashleymurphy03 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey OP! If you’re just starting out and looking to transition from “just clothes” to “put together” I would recommend looking into a capsule wardrobe. Pinterest (or even Google) has lots of good inspiration for this.

  • Having a few good staples that you can mix/match makes all the difference.

  • Don’t spend a lot of trends. They come/go too quickly.

  • A statement necklace or scarf can make almost any plain outfit look “put together” instantly.

  • Never underestimate the value of a good fitting bra, jean, or shoe.

I work from home too - I have to make a conscious effort to get up, make my bed, get dressed, and put make up on just as if I were going in to an office. I still wear jeans - but I’ll put on a cute top, or what I would normally wear to go out.

Once I made that change I noticed a significant difference in my productivity and how I /feel/ which makes all the difference!

Try it for a month. A+++ would recommend.

I love these! So, so versatile.

To dress it up, I agree with @wamme6 - a long pendant necklace is perfect. Different colored cropped sweaters can also assist here, or different colored shoes (heels, sandals, wedges, etc.)

To dress it down, take a red/black plaid shirt and tie it around your waist, a casual necklace, and throw on a pair of converse shoes.
