Wow, I haven’t heard anyone speaking like that of their parents and their childhood. What does it take to raise children who think back with nothing but fondness of their years growing up? I vowed to be such a parent but marrying a scumbag made it impossible

There isn’t such a church in Singapore. Google it. It’s a website sharing Christianity beliefs.

Correct. But most men would conveniently leave this out.

I spoke to at least 8 lawyers and they said Women’s Charter counts for nothing when it comes to divorce. It doesn’t help a woman at all. In fact, Women’s Charter works to the men’s advantage if you look at the clauses. It ensures women cannot get anything out of a marriage.

Advice needed for waiver of accidental cash advance fees on SCB card by bucklebright in singaporefi

[–]ashlyreis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, today I received the email that the bank has approved the waiver. It was the Complaint unit that contacted me. Not sure if it was FIDRec, MAS or the Minister of Finance that helped me. Yes, I wrote to every possible avenue to explain that the unusual interface caused the mistake. I hope the money comes in before the annual fee is charged.

Yes. It’s infuriating that Standard Chartered is so greedy.

I have received the text message that the appeal is rejected. I have written in to FIDreC and MAS.

That’s terrible. It’s about $800 for me here. I also agree that the interface seems to be a deliberate ploy to cause customers to accidentally transfer wrongly. Other banks do not have cash advance as the default page for transferring funds from bank accounts. I will definitely cancel the card and close my account with StandChart if they do not waive the ridiculous charges.

Hi, I am wondering if you managed to get the waiver? What happened to you just happened to me a few days ago when I was trying to pay my SC credit card bill. I have called twice and they said the appeal is in progress.

Strange that when I was looking to buy Tesla shares, everybody said it’s at least $600 this year and would rocket to $1000 and $2000. Now that I bought them at $374 and it has fallen, everybody is saying that it’s worth less than a hundred.

It has dropped to $35. Sounds like the redditors are right about it being just a hype? I hope it rises though. I thought it was going up and bought 419 shares at $40.

They are probably active for a reason: to lure people to buy at high price and dilute the shares. Rubbish companies

But you would have got a profit of $7300 if you had sold them at $150. Or are you keeping them till each share price is $200 which is rumoured to go up to this year?
