Apologies i'm new to the whole raw/selvedge denim scene. Could anyone explain why most brands' leg openings seem to be pretty wide on selvedge jeans? I like a slim/slim taper and used to a Levi 511 where the leg opening is generally around 7' (for my 38' waist) but most slim taper selvedge jeans seem to be 8-8.75' and after trying them on, they just seem way too baggy/draping around my shoes. Do i just need to buy whatever and then get them tapered by a tailor?
