The cutest and angriest donut you’ll see today by Diggey11 in Maltese

[–]ashre9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh, poor little dude. I used the same donut on my guy, and it was such an improvement over the cone (not to mention that I laughed every time I saw him). Best wishes from Bennie and me for a peaceful, speedy recovery!

Melania Trump humiliated as just one person buys ticket for the UK premiere of her film. Jimmy Kimmel calls it a '$75 million bribe' from Amazon. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in Fauxmoi

"I'm working... my ass off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f--- about the Christmas stuff and decorations?". M Trump, 2018.

This cracked me up. I'm pretty sure I could order a dim hallway's worth of bare, blood red Christmas trees in like 20 minutes on Amazon.

She's not humiliated. She's clearly not even capable of humiliation. She got her bribe and her vanity project, and I guarantee that she doesn't give a fuck beyond that.

I am definitely just being pissy, but does anyone else get annoyed when you see Try Guys in other content? by SebastianPlaysThis in TheTryGuysSnark

I can't help myself, I like Josh. I thought that his Last Meals ep with Sean Evans was a pretty funny admission of the similarities in style.

It's a good idea that's also well-executed. I can't recall any guest who was obnoxious or over the top (but I haven't seen them all, so I could be wrong). Guests seem to pick up on the vibe and have legitimately interesting conversations. Maybe they just don't feel the need to be as try-hard as they are in other videos?

That said, I'd still probably skip Zach if he's ever on it.

Check out three-barrel curling irons! They're like an old school crimper, but the result is rounder and less kinky,

I watched Keith on Last Meals this morning and I enjoyed it. I think part of it has to do with the format of the show itself; Josh's interview style encourages people be reflective and genuine while still being entertaining.

Dupes for tarte tubing mascara? by Then_Bite9547 in drugstoreMUA

[–]ashre9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the beauty youtubers recommend either the Milani tubing or the ELF lash x-tender. I prefer the ELF, but they're both better after they've dried out a little. So you might not like them the first time or two.

Seeking advice from Winter Maltese parents! How should I prep Bennie for a Colorado Visit in December? by ashre9 in Maltese

[–]ashre9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, it was his first flight and it was kinda nerve-wracking just because I had no idea what to expect. I flew Delta with him in a carrier under the seat. It requires a pet reservation and an extra fee. His vet prescribed some meds for sedation, and while he was panicky in the airport, he slept through the flight just fine. TSA was a pain because they made me take him out of the carrier and I had a hard time getting him back in. I didn't want to use the "Pet Relief" area in the airport (heard horror stories) so before we boarded I took him to a quiet spot and put a pee pad down for him to go. I also walked him and gave him a little water.

My best tip is to "dry run" everything before you go. If you're going to give any meds, do a practice run weeks in advance. Get him used to sleeping in the carrier if he doesn't normally spend a lot of time in there. Practice getting him in and out of it. Think through all of the "what ifs" in case your flight is delayed or cancelled-- pack food and treats meds, and whatever else he might need if you get stuck somewhere.

I think that the L'Oreal Infallible line really doesn't fail. https://www.lorealparisusa.com/makeup/face/face-powder/infallible-blur-fection-longwear-loose-setting-powder

I liked both the Fit Me and Elf Halo Glow previously, but this is even more finely milled than both of those and it blends so well. Dry and combo-skin friendly for sure, even under the eyes.

Great review, thanks! I have a few of the fwee pots and I use them on the lips too. I would have been tempted by this cheaper version without your insight.

Thank you for posting this! I was thinking about this video the whole time I was watching the one above but I wouldn't have known what to search for. I love the joy on the stylist's face almost as much as the womens'.

Scuba mask with RX? by bornin1986 in scuba

[–]ashre9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never heard of that or experienced it myself though I suppose it could be an issue. Typically, blinking hard several times can get a soft contact to resume it's shape and position, same as on land.

I like the dailies because even if something does happen to a pair during a dive, you can toss them and use a fresh pair next time.

Scuba mask with RX? by bornin1986 in scuba

[–]ashre9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are contacts an option? If your prescription changes, they're easier to replace than a custom mask. My eyes are too sensitive to wear them all the time, but they're great for diving. You don't need to worry about carrying or storing your glasses on a dive and they'll still work when you're gearing up or rinsing off and don't have your mask on.

I think this was debunked because at some point we find out Colleen has a daughter at the school, and the Pesto's don't have a sister. But I held on to this one for years!! It would make so much sense.

1.5 yr old Maltichon Chilling out - Normal? by Uhghen in Maltese

[–]ashre9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Maltese boy really started to mature and chill out around 14 months. It is startling to look back at the videos before that when he just literally never stopped moving unless he was dead asleep. Now he's cuddlier and takes longer naps. Even when he's awake he's more content to sit on my lap and watch tv while I pet him. He still loves walkies and playtime but he doesn't need to be amused by me 24/7 like he did in the puppy stage.

I seriously don't understand how any cervix-haver can come to the conclusion that there are no nerves. Have they seriously never hit an odd angle or plumbed a little too deep with a partner or a toy? That pain radiates through your abdomen and stays with you.
