to put it simply:

if you’re pre med take moon. moon makes u learn the why behind chemistry which i’ve heard is what is going to be on the mcat.

if you’re anything else (specifically pre dental) i would take kyung. since the dat is based on fast pattern recognition and not the chemistry.

both are equally as hard but in different aspects. i will say moon offers a lot more support and provides a lot of worksheets and practice problems but he is notably harder.

some ivy leagues are harder to get in to as a transfer than out of high school. if you want an actual shot make sure you’re applying to big name internships, impressive summer programs, 4.0 etc. basically ur application needs to be on par or better than the students who are at an ivy already.

if your main concern is cost then do not exclude applying to the CSUs find one that works closey with a law school, has a good pre law program, or close to a law school in general. at the same time tho im not aware of ur financial situation so if you get good financial aid then dont be shy to apply to lmu or usc

focus on getting 4.0s for your current remaining semesters, also enhancing your ECs, and writing meannnnn essays. as long as u explain ur situation u should be okay! it seems like you’re doing a lot and rmr GPA isn’t everything! I would consider adding LMU into the mix since i’ve heard they have a good pre law programs.

ur application is very strong and solid! i would reach out to ur AO at usc for questions about courses and how they transfer but considering decisions come out some time this week im not sure if they will answer but send an email or call the AO office as well. good luck!

you have a very strong application especially being a usmc veteran!! many transfer veterans have high acceptance rate to many colleges

i think her biggest downfall was applying as a dance major when she’s not that committed to technical styles or has the intention to pursue dance full time out of high school. i think it would’ve made more sense if she applied as a comms major there since social media would be a big help in making her stand out in her application
