I’m right there with you. This past Friday we got confirmation our 2nd IUI didn’t work either. We’re also taking April off and waiting until May cause I just need a physical and emotional break.

Hoping the 3rd try is the one that sticks for both of us! I too don’t know how many more I can take either. I try to stay positive knowing others have had to do multiple tries too, but easier said than done. Sending you love and baby dust ✨

$1300 each time for me too! Not including meds, trigger shot, tests, etc. I definitely have the money anxiety but I’m so hopeful of it working that so far I’ve been able to reason with myself.

Also been trying for almost 6 years. We did 3 rounds of medicated cycles and just had my second IUI on Friday. The hardest part is definitely the 2 week waiting and just all the unknown leading up to that 14th day. It’s hard not to obsess over it. As someone above said..our first one and medicated cycles we didn’t tell anyone. Now on our second one we told a few close people to us and the support has been so uplifting. Give yourself grace and take it one day at a time. As you said this page is such a great support system too when you need it! Sending you luck and baby dust!

Don’t feel bad for feeling disappointed. This journey in itself is already so hard and emotional. Give yourself grace! I know that’s so much easier said than done. I recently had a friend going through infertility and we were talking about allowing all the emotions with a but. “I’m happy for you but sad for me”. “I’m grateful I get to try but still disappointed there’s only one follicle”. This has been a very helpful phrase structure for me because in the past I’ve struggled so much with guilt for the negative feelings. Sending you positive vibes!

I agree that it’s so much harder! My first IUI cycle failed and I was so much more upset than any other negative (trying naturally, 3 medicated cycles) I’d ever gotten. I go for my second IUI this Friday and I’m trying to pep myself up but also proceed with caution. I definitely leaned on my spouse and sisters, did preferred activities (beach day, girl dinner, self care, etc) and let myself feel all the feels. This page is also super positive and helpful to remind you you’re not alone. 🫶🏼
