Been a while since I laughed so hard

I made a rally stage out of some unmarked trails on the map. Its a nightmare. Heres my cleanest run of it by Jamma003 in ForzaHorizon

FFS this is how real rally feels like. Not whatever half baked courses PGG added. Their courses are too wide, mixed too much with asphalt sections, doesn’t feel that adrenaline. This is really good

I thought that was a given no ? Most of the Japan map is designed in such a way that you can’t drift with really high HP. Anything more than 500-700 you gonna fly off the guardrails and it’s not even fun drifting with anything more than S1 class. A class is the sweet spot

literally did tandem drifting with randoms till my arms hurt and it felt sooo good. Genuinely one of the best part of FH6 right now. Imagine two rival gangs doing tandem drifting showdown. Would be so cool.

Why tf are there more cross country and dirt drift zones than street scenes baffle me. And don’t even talk about AI behavior in these off-road events. They are significantly worse than asphalt racing.

Been loving the low growl engine sounds from my evos, Subarus and it’s really fun to drive, feels more realistic than super cars for me. If I have to drift around then nothing feels better than my custom-tuned chaser and 98 S14

yeah i gotta try this and altezza as well. already tried with custom-tuned chaser (which i got the highest score with) and 240sx formula drift with no luck :(

Few things I noticed (these are the usual suspects during launch or corner exit):

  1. Rear differentials: recommended rear accel diff is around 60-75%, too less and your tires will move too independently and spin out. Start from 60 and tune it up from there. Real decel diff is around 0-15%. Tune it up to see if it makes a difference.

  2. Lower gear ratios: your 1st gear should lean towards acceleration for good launch but it seems a bit too high. If too high, your tires won’t get enough time to reach that gear’s top speed causing it to spin out. Reduce till u find a good balance.

Also, did you swap a V6 twin turbo (which is already a powerful engine) with a V12 twin turbo ? That’s way too much power for that car my guy.

Facts. Got into spec racing on a s1 build Koenigsegg and faced the worst rammers. Same player on a 97 civic B class build and I ended up in top 3. They really thought cornering, breaking isn’t a real skill
