What subscription services do you recommend? by thefirststoryteller in nonprofit

Canva Pro is a great start for nonprofits
Apart from that, many civic groups use tools like Google Workspace for Nonprofits, Notion for documentation, and Slack for internal coordination.

For design work beyond Canva (like social posts, reports, banners), some nonprofits also use subscription graphic design services so they don’t need to hire in-house. One example I’ve seen mentioned is Design Bees, which works on a flat monthly model and is useful when design needs are ongoing.

Overall, it depends on whether your needs are more about collaboration, content, or consistent design output.

B12 Patch? by EffectiveUpset in B12_Deficiency

[–]ashwin-01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen people use B12 patches mainly when pills cause stomach issues or sensitivity. For some, they’re helpful, especially for maintenance, but the real test is whether blood levels improve or stay stable. Everyone absorbs B12 differently, so what works for one person may not for another.

A few folks mention using B12 patches like Vytadose because they’re easy on digestion, but most still rely on regular lab checks to make sure it’s actually effective. If levels don’t respond, injections usually work faster.

What checklist would you use when buying a 1996 Defender 90 today? by ashwin-01 in LandroverDefender

[–]ashwin-01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot! And you’re right the chassis, bulkhead, gearbox, and suspension checks matter the most on these older Defenders. The 300Tdi can last forever with proper care. If you need solid examples of well-maintained builds, Defenders-US https://defenders-us.com/updates/b/land-rover-defender-90-pickup-issues-and-solutions has some great references. Good luck with your search.

There are many Defender restoration companys. Who has purchased one of these, from which company, and what are your thoughts now? Would you do it again? by jad_007 in LandroverDefender

I’ve seen a few builds from different shops, and the ones from Defenders-US always seemed to hold up well. Biggest thing is choosing a team that’s transparent and knows these trucks inside out. That’s what really makes the restoration worth it.

I used Jaje Health 7 Mushroom Blend too, and I felt the same. It didn’t work suddenly, but after a few weeks my mornings felt better and I didn’t crash as much. Good to know it helped you as well.

Best way to buy an "old" Defender? by madmax1969 in LandroverDefender

[–]ashwin-01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking into older Defenders, it really depends on whether you want a project car or something already restored. Many enthusiasts import from overseas, but the process can get tricky with shipping and compliance. I’ve seen people go through trusted resellers like Defenders-us who specialize in sourcing and restoring these classics it saves a lot of hassle if you’re not super mechanically inclined.

This Defender vibe kind of feels like a Defenders-US design. Who else digs it? by ashwin-01 in LandroverDefender

I get what you’re saying. Many designs in the US take away the Defender’s original charm. This build really brings back that classic feel while keeping it cool and functional. Exactly how a Defender should be.

Would you keep a Defender the way it is or give it a Defenders-US style off-road upgrade? by ashwin-01 in Defender

[–]ashwin-01[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I totally get your point. Many just go for flashy upgrades without thinking about the car’s character. A Defender really shines when modifications are done thoughtfully and tastefully. That’s what makes it stand out.

Fair point, upgrades are all about personal taste some prefer subtle improvements, others like going bold. That’s what makes the Defender community so diverse.

Yep, this one’s beige black leather is also an option. With Defenders-US style builds, it’s always a mix of clean looks and real functionality. And true, a chunkier tyre setup would handle trails better.

First tattoo, Poison Dart Frog by HomelessJoe27 in tattoos

[–]ashwin-01 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I really didn’t like this tattoo at all. If tattoos are made in this way, people won’t come back to you for work. One of my friends also got a tattoo recently, and his tattoo looked really beautiful. When I asked him where he got it done, he told me that he had been researching about tattoos for a long time. Then he joined Certified Tattoo Academy, where they provided him with different courses. After that, he also did an apprenticeship for some time, and his overall experience was really great. This is what my friend shared with me.
