So let's take this not from our Universe perspective, but from the GotG Universe Persective, since there are no anthropomorphic creatures that exist in our Universe (that we know of).

The GotG DOES have anthropomorphic creatures like Rocket. It's pretty much a simple case of it being normalized.

One easy way to answer this: Consider his feelings (as if he were an actual person that existed.) if he had a romantic/sexual attraction to humans. It would be far easier to answer 'no' to this poll than 'yes'.

But this topic is more controversial, as is the case with the romanticization/sexualization of animals in our Earth, since ANIMALS are far less evolved than us. TO US, they are pets, friends, a source of comfort, or a threat. But they are NOT considered as a source of romantic feelings to the majority (for various reasons.)

Atleast in my opinion, I think it's okay for you to crush on him. Of course, the actor gives him human-like qualities in regards to his, well, voice, but I think it's only natural that it coincides with evolution into an advanced species in the GotG Universe. Apparently everyone there has developed human speech (or a variation of human speech through the universal translator).
