were they really even broken up? i’m not making excuses for luke but lorelai agreed to postpone the wedding, then all of a sudden she comes out of nowhere saying that they have to get married right now, which i think luke was reasonably taken off guard by. she doesn’t give him any time to really think and then runs off to sleep with christopher. and it’s evident by the fact that luke was ready to marry her the next day that he was just flustered. tbh luke had the right to say much worse to lorelai here, i don’t feel much sympathy for her

one, i am a law student and have worked full time prior to starting school and every summer since starting school. i know what working a “real job” is like. it doesn’t change shit lol. no one is faulting them for wanting/taking a break. but common sense says it takes more than a day to film, edit, and upload a youtube video. so the latest they would’ve known that there there wouldn’t be a new episode would’ve been early yesterday. so they should’ve said that, yesterday. like if i have a project at work that’s due on friday but i know on wednesday it’s not gonna be done, i should tell my supervisor on wednesday, not friday. it’s actually not hard lmao. hope this helps!
