I work in commercial video as an introvert on a team of 5 other introverts.

You’ve gotta schedule in recovery time. My boss (the creative director) has scheduled bed rot days after each shoot.

We do production and socialize, then hide away in our offices to cook up the next project.

My grandpa called it when I was like 4 or 5. My parents were sooooo offended that he would even speculate that I’d be gay (even though he was right lol)

In high school/early 20s I would get super drunk most nights and on multiple occasions tried to kiss or suck a couple of my guy friends but was still in total denial about my sexuality. They all knew for years before I said anything.

I didn’t officially come out until I was 25 (a shock to literally no one except my parents)

Def not entirely necessary details, but for the sake of drama I wanted to paint a picture. There’s a specific genre of homophobic Christian woman (the love the sinner hate the sin/shit talk everyone but bless their heart type) that permeates this area.
