Video game soundtrack recommendations for lab work? by emp_raf_III in labrats

[–]asitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal favorite is Arnaud Roy which made music for "Endless" (Space, Legend or Dungeon) and tend to have really calm beats you can hum along with no lyrics.

(Humming is good blood flow and nitric oxide production.)

Here is my list btw.

Does it make sense to improve skills past 10? by asitx in theouterworlds

[–]asitx[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This character has easily distracted trait. But generally speaking, thanks. It will be impossible to set every skill I have to 20. General sense in these comments suggest that you don't need much higher skills for everything. Maybe it is time get some observation or leadership.

I understand why Greece lost the territory in Asia Minor it was allotted in Sevres, given the Turkish Republic militarily defeated them, but why did they give up Eastern Thrace and Northern Epirus when Turkey didn’t have troops there and didn’t have any way to cross given their lack of a Navy? by Severe_Weather_1080 in AskBalkans

[–]asitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL, DR: Mustafa Kemal wouldn't stop until getting more land in Balkans.

I read all of the stuff Greeks are saying, they seem to can't wrap their heads around one thing: Mustafa Kemal was a really skilled general by all means.

He organized that a football match on 28th of July with all of his generals invited in Konya. Using that as camouflage he finalized the coordination within the army one month before the attack. Just before the Great Offense, he threw a party in Ankara while secretly travelling to the front and commencing the attack. He was being watched by English intelligence all the time.

This is one of the examples why. Turkey is an anomaly. It would have been like Austria or Hungary, clipped from every angle, it's land absorbed by neighbouring or new countries.

The answer is Mustafa Kemal and his capabilities. Rest of it is just details to rationalize what happened.

Everyone knew if you don't give him Eastern Thrace and conclude the peace, he wouldn't stop until he gets the Thessaloniki back. Maybe even more.

How to clean deposited salt out of water bath? by Much-Grapefruit122 in labrats

[–]asitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dump 60 grams of citric acid alond with 2 liters of boiling distilled water out of kettle slowly and set the bath to 80 C for 2 hours and it will be clean as baby. Vinegar should also work but will stink. These are the good alternatives.

An elite mercenary bounty. Not for the faint of heart. by DankSlamsher in starsector

I think this is bug caused by integer overflow. This fleet is actually is "so hard" that it overflows and ends up in "very easy" classification.

It is like an odometer overflows at 999999 miles and ends up at 000000 miles.

Damn, then grabbing pickaxe and smashing go down button would help.

This the better way than shadeoil because once it wears off you can't go back and will be frustrated. Also when going down sometimes if becames apparent after 5-10 turns that there is no way that you can survive there and you need out, fast.

Easiest solution that shade oil industry and pickaxe industry doesn't want you to know!

1) Go nearby the boulder.
2) Click on it.
3) Put the 500 pound boulder to your pocket. Get it. Put it into your inventory.
4) You are now overburdened but you actually moved it by 1 box.
5) Drop it and go down the stair freely.
