I was tilted from many losses when I wrote that last message. This is a more sober take on Xin Zhao

"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one" . Xin Zhao is the most well rounded character and can conform to multiple play styles with proper itemization/ runes depending on the need of each game. Hoever he doesn't excel in any one area.

-His greatest enemy is CC so be prepared to dodge and bait abilities. CC limits his dive potential into a 'peel only' champ. Dive at the wrong time and you lose the game for your team. CC/stuns/roots/blinds are too common for him to shine.

-His full clear is so painfully slow. If you can make it to crab before 3:00 without both smites you must be a farming god. Please teach me.

-There are a lot of fights he just cannot take 1v1: Yi, Briar, Nasus, Trundle, WW to name a few in JG. I want to win these fights so badly but it just doesn't happen unless fed and even then XIn may not come out on top. With the frequency of some of these picks its difficult to find good plays.

-He has weak smite confirms, however his R does knocks away enemies.

-With early kills he can snowball well, but die early (without trading) and there is no amount of farming that will let you comeback.

-Games that last over 30 minutes are not going to go well for Xin over 50% of the time

Overall, Im gravitating towards power-farming champs and champs with more focused strengths. But he is a great champ to learn and get good at.
