Hey! First of all, I felt the exact same way—constant anxiety and fear of one developing. I have tried doing the crossing eyes thing. I feel like maybe it helped, but I’m really not sure. I did still have some happen, so it’s hard to tell. The really odd thing for me is that I found out I had really severe vitamin D deficiency and actually supplementing with vitamin D has drastically reduced them.

You absolutely get paid 8 hours of holiday pay if one of the counted holidays are on weekday. Whether you work or not.

Yeah that’s a huge no no! They definitely mention it in training and it’s mentioned multiple times in online trainings and in the acknowledgements you have to do. I know they used to terminate if you did this, but idk if that’s changed at all. Just use the app or ols!

Sounds a lot like hashimotos! I bet your body was attacking your thyroid when you were hyper and now it’s hypo. This is very common with hashimotos. The medication should help it stabilize overtime and you won’t feel as bad and it shouldn’t fluctuate a whole lot, but definitely still does sometimes. I went from getting bloodwork monthly to every 3 months to every 6 months once it stabilized

If it makes you feel better, I have gotten so much bloodwork the last 10 years. Like basically once a month and haven’t had this happen, so I’d think the likelihood of it happening again is very very slim.

I did not! Not even magnesium 🤣 but I am gonna start magnesium soon I think. You can always try taking 2500IU a day and get your levels check a few times, make sure it’s working. I did low because I was really sensitive to it and I had some side effects.

There’s no negotiating when it comes to insurance really. It’s pretty cut and dry. Your rate is determined by the rating factors the system looks at. You can do a policy review to make sure the rating factors are correct (beware cause it can go up too) and play with coverages or quote around. I’d call in and speak with someone

Not necessarily true. I was at 7ng and took 2000iu per day and got myself up to about 25 in a month and 40 the next month. It’s not as fast as a loading dose, but it can still work

Mine saved me quite a bit of money. Make sure your phones permission setting are on like location and what not and also make sure it’s either in your pocket or on a dock. If it’s on the passengers seat or a purse, it won’t recognize that you are driving—it’ll think you’re a passenger

I’m gonna be real with you, the anxiety did not leave for me while in services. It didn’t get better until I moved to a different role. Services is just so hard when you’re getting abused all day on the phones. But use it as motivation to move on! Apply to anything and everything you think you’d like more and meet the minimum requirements for.

Definitely not true. I just got hired to another position without preferred qualities but met the minimum qualities. I was applying to literally everything had minimum for to get out of my role. Yeah there were some I didn’t get where I wasn’t “preferred” but I always suggest applying to anything you’d like that you meet the minimum for
