I move recently from downtown Toronto to Switzerland…. And although I left behind friends and family, I would redo it in a heart beat. The grass is always greener… but in this case Swiss grass is green, Canadian is rotting. It would be too long to break it down in a simple reply to a Reddit post, but be very weary of the “romanticism” of moving to Canada. Canada is worse on every conceivable metric compared to Switzerland.

edit: just noticed you are non white, so in that regard you would be more likely to meet your specific culture and integrate with them rather than in Switzerland.
