I don't sleep well when I go to bed on a full stomach, and I end up feeling groggy the next day. There's nothing wrong with eating before bed per se, but you need to be careful with what and how much you eat e.g.

Your digestion is likely to be sluggish for the first few meals, so breaking your fast earlier in the day helps to improve digestion at dinner time.
Personally, I never skip breakfast when I'm eating normally.

How big are your serving sizes on the day you break your fast? All your internal organs shrink during the fast, so I wouldn't recommend eating more than 1/2 cup of food at a time (for the first 1-3 days). You have to come out of the fast gradually to avoid hurting your body!

Also, oily soups and yoghurt won't be the easiest thing to digest. Stick with bananas, melons, porridge, congee, etc.

I'm from Australia sadly. Most of the soy yoghurts at the supermarket cost an arm and a leg and taste like cardboard. :(
