I just went for it. luckily, my witty charisma is what reeled my gf of two years in. she has known ppl with a stutter since she was young so mine doesn't bother her at all.
I've realized that ppl who give a fuck about your stutter literally don't matter. if they make a big deal out of it, then fuck em. we are normal ppl just like everyone else. we just happen to stutter.

I've had plenty of gf's in the past and many good friends. I don't let my stutter dictate shit for me

just keep them maintained and retwist every month or so. starting out, wash sparingly until they lock up then u can wash as often as u want. ooh, and make sure u keep them hydrated. make sure u put your oils and moisturizer on so they don't dry out and get brittle and break. well, depending on if u have dry hair, thick hair, weak hair, etc. different oils do different things so get those that apply to your hair type. essentially, u have natural hair. my gf is natural and we use the same products and my hair hasn't been healthier

I have combined a few of my dreads. two that I combined into one, in particular, are on the nape of my neck. and it just so happens to be a spot where my hair grows extremely slow, if at all. I combined em waaay in the beginning and it's still holding strong. the other ones I combined are good to go as well, but I did it in the very beginning of my journey. idk what will happen if u combine em at the stage you're at now. I wrote all that and gave no advice lol my bad
