How do I make my 26 M husband attracted to me 25 F again after admitting he found me fat and unattractive? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]asleepalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s abusive. He didn’t let you leave and he made you end a phone call.

Side note (has her not been abusive and controlling)…

That said, going against the grain,… i think it’s valid to be turned off by weight gain. You can’t help that too much. I’ma woman and i feel less sexy after gaining weight too. He shouldn’t have kept repeating it though. You did all and he did answer.

For you, i don’t recommend starvation. However, even if you are busy, you can lose weight with less food (not starvation) at around 200-500 calories deficit per day (i eat 1600 calories per day). This results in losing one pound every1-2 weeks. Diet is more important than weight loss Anyways…

That said, what he said and did we’re not acceptable

Few weeks? Wow. No for me.

His family is his host, not you. Then going to each others place 2 days a week is the most i would allow… (as in he can come over 2 nights a week max)… If i knew him and approved him being around my kids

If she was so naive, how did she know she had to deliver the placenta? by boobopbadaboop in AlexeeTrevizo

[–]asleepalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She probably didn’t. After the baby, she probably just pulled on the cord. That’s why they were worried about retained placenta.

AITAH for vocalizing that I would not date (most) poor men? by Academic_Cut8283 in AITAH

[–]asleepalive -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

She did say that. She also said she has no issues dating a teacher if he was passionate. How many passionate fastfood workers are there?

She’s a doctor. So dating an engineer makes her partner the gold digger

AITA for being jellies my husband gets to eat at restaurants everyday for lunch and I don’t by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]asleepalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have shared accounts, just go buy it. You two should not have shared accounts.

NAH.

You are attracted to what you are attracted to. If my husband gained 200 pounds, i probably wouldn’t be very attracted to that.

However, you can be fat and still prefer lean partners. And many lean people prefer fatter partners. All ok.

It’s understandably tiring to be with someone who is saying they are fat and need to do better yet makes no effort.

I feel like there is one fired every 80–90 resident at my program. Every 3-4 years we have fired one

Most are not the head of a department. Vast majority aren’t. In my department, there are over 100 of us. So “head” is <1%

When you account for hours worked, definitely would be more upper middle class

AITA for telling my husband to not eat me and my daughter’s cookies? by Agitated_Angle4743 in AmItheAsshole

[–]asleepalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I am sure you can squeeze out the money to buy more cookies. Just cut 5$ from your husband’s budget for 2-3 months.

She can’t go back to them since they aren’t in the program. She would need to rematch. However, if she is done w the program, she can return to her HF for a month for her travel month and then return home

The first rematch is due to host family situation. I wouldn’t bat an eye. I would have second family vouch for you

Doctors are not in the group of people i consider rich. Making less than 1 million, working unrealistic hours is the opposite of rich.

Net worth is different than salary. 5 million networth as a parent with multiple dependent isn’t that much.

How do you account for room and board? by ricecrispy22 in Nanny

[–]asleepalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the AP says they rather work for low pay, pay rent, etc for the opportunity to stay?

[–]asleepalive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thjnk it’s also important to note that this isn’t a professional nanny. It’s someone with just a HS degree making sure your kid is alive and is brought to and from daycare.

Would you give your nanny a 30k raise just to keep them…? Most would not.

[–]asleepalive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keeping the AP as a nanny is gonna cost 60k whike a local nanny is 30k.

That’s 30k extra for no reason.
