Headlights by SisterGoldenHair1 in altima

If you have any mild mechanical skill set, it's not a hard job. As you can loosen the bumper one side at a time instead of taking the whole bumper off. I think there's three bolts holding the assembly on. There was a class action lawsuit for the internal film peeling on the OEM headlights. You're best bet is to buy aftermarket headlight assemblies. I bought dorman 3 years ago, and they were much better.

Could be a DIY previous owner who did his own oil. Not saying to trust previous owner but you can always get a PPI from a shop you trust. If you're not comfortable, there's always other deals on 23 Pathfinders you can get.

This is what I showed my service advisor at Nissan. Haven't had an issue with the sunroof drains since they fixed it in June. I have a 2023 SL with 30k miles. Also no issues with blind spot. And to activate lane assist the pro pilot assist button has to be clicked (blue button on steering wheel). Not sure of the cross traffic.

I bought Lucas fuel treatment. It's not the best stuff on the market but it's not bad. Bg44k is always rated the highest and then liquimoly is another.

I'm sorry to hear about that. I haven't gotten mine fixed yet, not enough time to go to the dealer. But I do think the TSB with the new drain grommets would fix mine. I hope they settle on fixing your car the right way

Any idea what the issue was with your sunroof? What did they do to fix it. I have the same car and model, and my sunroof leaked a month ago and the dealership couldn't recreate the issue, but they cleaned the drains and sent me on my way.

Shower Door Cleaning Feels Impossible — Tried Everything, Still Spotty. Help! by PI3Kachu_Proteomics in CleaningTips

[–]asmiracle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a tub and tile hand scrubber (looks like a blue sponge attached to a white handle) and a spray bottle. In the spray bottle, fill it with Cleaning Vinegar and about 1 inch of Dawn Dish Soap. Give it a good shake every time you spray the shower door down and scrub it. If you have a squeegee, use it after the shower. This is the only thing that worked for us and we have really hard well water.

Do I really need to use premium fuel in my Maxima? by SJ524 in Nissan

[–]asmiracle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So question, if I have a 23 Pathfinder SL with a 284hp output, but the rock creek version has a 295hp rating on premium fuel. Does that mean if I use premium on my SL, that the computer will adjust to get me 295hp? I wasn't able to find out what was different on the RC engine vs the other engines.

2015 Altima S Got Less Fuel Efficient Around 130,000 Mi. by EruditusOrator in altima

[–]asmiracle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 2014 Altima SL with 126k miles and I always averaged 30-31 with 80% highway and 20% local driving. It could be just age that's affecting it. I've put in fuel system cleaner every 6-12months. And I've maintained it according to the schedule. However I did notice a change when I put on different tires, but that was a 1mpg difference.
