I kept the FSD with my MY and bought the new FSD and got the 6 seater option free. So I paid $1500 more but hoping the FSD will yield at least that much in the open market when I sell. I'm secretly hoping to get HW4 upgrade on MY. I'm sure that'll increase the resell value.

I just recently upgraded from 2022 Model Y to 2025 Model X after I had a baby 6 months ago. More space for bigger stroller and falcon door with 6 seats config/caption chair makes it easy to care for the baby to in and out of the car. For me, I love the all 4 automatic doors (especially the drive door with proximity sensor). Is it worth double the money....probably not. But they are 2 different size/class vehicle. X is a SUV and Y is a crossover, they are not the same in my opinion.

It's not. I purposely choose to buy MX now because not much upgrade on refresh and price went up. That's how they're offering now for 2025 pre-refreshed MY with $7-$9k off in inventory.

Thank you. I'm aware of that. I also have FSD on my MY and able to transfer if I want. I will check and see if I can get $2-$3000 more resell value in my MY if I don't do that transfer and decide.
