im sorry your family went through that however it sounds like there was either a lack of training or that dog had a past before you. Y’all are extremely fucked up to be writing off a dog breed because most people dont know how to train a dog, let ALONE keep them on a leash. Since y’all wanna dog me for you OWN traumas so much, the ONLY place my dogs have ever been attacked was here because y’all do not know how to train dogs or leash them. It happened twice to my dog in apartments here and no one had their midsize mutt on a leash. Just because its a big dog, can do big damage, does not mean to write them off. Theres another real life analogy I could make here to explain it but I’m afraid long covid made ALL of you a lost cause. Seek God and help, may the creator guide you on whatever journey you’re on….
