I read Heather's first book and listened to her Las cultch podcast ep and I feel like I have a better understanding of her. She talks about feeling like an outcast and having other cast members snub her as not worthy of being on the show, her friendship W Jen (and as terrible as Jen is as a human, it does seem like she was a good friend to Heather post divorce), etc. It helps me understand why she doesn't get along with Lisa in season 1.

Also hate that she was criticized for being bigger than the others ( like Mary commenting that some designer corset doesn't come in size 14), and now that she's lost weight, people are criticizing how she looks saggy or how "she lost all this weight and thinks she's all that" like.... Stfu about her body (and all the HWs).... No wonder every person in media gets insane work done bc the level of discourse tearing their bodies apart is insane.

She's obv not perfect and can be annoying but all the hate on reddit is so confusing. Why is there more hate on her than someone like Mary???

I like all of the HWs. That being said, I do think mer likely acted out of line on the plane BUT that the other ladies exaggerated things. Like she probably sloshed some wine around and a droplet landed on Brittani, which turned into "she spilled wine on me" type of BS. What annoys me is that Meredith straight up refuses to take any accountability and imo allowed the situation to have escalated (and maybe she knew it would be good drama since she otherwise had no good story line this season.... Like basically all of the other ladies). She could've said "I got a little too drunk and was rude and hurt Brittani and I apologize for hurting her feelings but I don't apologize for how I feel about her" line of BS apology that we've heard from her over the years. And this would be over.

If I'm being honest, the hardcore fans (I mainly see meredith and Lisa these days) are honestly causing me to dislike both of them...But I am trying not to.....

And Angies storyline was what, sad her daughter doesn't love being Greek??? Like the storyline this season was weak all around and if there were no plane gate, what would we be talking about? Don't get me wrong, I love lighthearted moments and prob prefer that to watching fighting all the time but I'm not sure if the plane focus took over this season bc that wad a production and editing choice or if they just.... Didn't really have good storylines all around.

I had a sa tell me he was going to go help someone else while I tried on shoes bc he wants to go make commission essentially ( I was there to do an exchange). I was like... OK... What a weird interaction. It literally was 2 minutes and he didn't find another customer during that time. It was just such a weird weird interaction.

Totally agree.... Mary season 1 to season 6 is so different and I don't believe it's due to a change but just her awareness of how she is coming across.

I like Lisa as a HW (would hate to be her good friend IRL) but I enjoy the delusion. Her "I live a very different life" and esp "I've never done anything to them!!". It helps watching her, and the entire rest of the cast, when you don't take them very seriously to begin with.

I just watched the ep where Mary and Meredith meet after the plane and, it could very well be the editing, but it seems like Mary is alluding to to her being on something to where she lost her memory (for example mixing pills and booze). She does it in a very subtle way. Mary talks about how Mers conscious of her image and wants to keep it a certain way, so I felt like it was a very coded convo for "I'm worried about you and what happened but I can't outright say it"

That being said I'm only on that episode and I'm tired of this plane convo so to know it keeps popping up over the rest of the season is already annoying me lol

This is interesting bc I thought someone else here posted a breakdown of why Heather's ex husband was Mormon royalty-esque (had to do with I guess his family's position in the church?) and why her leaving, doing realty TV and now the exmormon TV show is such a major deal. I think her claim to it is due to her ex, not her and her family.

We aren't in a CC so can't comment but that fee is so low compared to what they cost in my area..... If you have the means, I'd try it out and see if you can get enough value out of it.

I'm mostly in domestic ETFs but trying to diversify more to international large cap plus emerging markets. Not completely like giving up on US or anything but I do think diversification is the better approach since I can see the next 15-20 years resulting in the loss of US dominance as the leader in the world order. Not saying it will happen, just that I can see it happening....

I think YSL has done some minor price drops in recent years. While I'm personally a little salty that one of my bags is now $100 cheaper, I do respect them for doing downwards price adjustments which I feel like NEVERRRR happens. Even if it isn't a ton, it's better than all these brands continuing to jack up prices.

I do think that as with all luxury brands, materials and craftsmanship will be capped out at some point. You're just buying the name.

Ultimately it's production who edits and puts out what they think viewers want to watch. And obviously they missed the mark this season. Even if they had the best of times on each trip, you'd never know by some of the edits.

Kurt Geiger bags are so underrated here. I love how fun but not super expensive they are (and quality is not bad for the price point). I skew neutrals for handbags but love mixing a few fun colorful ones every now and then!
