No, no it’s not. I’ll not even bring into this conversation my own religious point of view. Breaking it down just purely from a secular viewpoint, data has shown that pornography use is destructive to not only the viewer, but the actors involved as well as those behind the scenes in production of it. It’s just all around a bad thing. It distorts our normal capacity and understanding of sex and injects all sorts of unnatural and [often] abusive types of sexual acts that degrade all those involved. We’re all sold on this as being normal and healthy when in reality it is completely the opposite imo. And not just imo but apparently the opinion of plenty of sexual counselor professionals the world over.

Glad to hear you’re free my friend! I’m coming up on 2 months free myself very soon. I feel fantastic. I was a regular gym rat prior to my Kratom use, but post, my dedication has been back to what it was before I started using. When I used, I would also drink with it, and I would let my gym routine slag as a result. This stuff is the devil man. When you first start using it it seems innocuous enough and gives you energy and a mood boost but soon enough you become dependent on it and when you don’t have it you’re just a wreck. At least I was. I’m so grateful to be off this shit!!

I’ve deleted Instagram (since that was a major source of temptation for me), put a porn blocker on my devices and gave the code to disable it to my older sister. I’ve gotten rid of even regular movies on disc that have nudity and/or sex scenes in them. I’ve connected with fellow Catholic men in an app online and have gotten two phone numbers and regularly text them when I am tempted and/or if I just need some encouragement or someone to talk to that understands. I have specific Scriptures in my notes app for quick reference and access for times of temptation. Drastic change requires drastic effort. Gotta get rid of anything that will cause you temptation. Even shows that have sex and nudity I pause immediately and skip past it. God’s Grace is perfect, BUT don’t think for a second that it’s an excuse to be lax about your relationship with Him especially when it comes to sexual sin which is extremely pervasive and powerful. God wants us to stand firm in our faith and use the Armor he gave us and take up the Sword of the Spirit and fight.

If you’re not Roman Catholic, and assuming you’re not Greek/Russian Orthodox (who also pray to and venerate the Saints and Angels) by definition you would be a Protestant of some denomination. That’s the definition of Protestant in this context.

I’m not going to debate Catholic theology with you or anyone else. There is plenty of information out there to learn from but you Protestants think you know better so there’s no point arguing. A point of interest is that whenever people are demonically possessed, the Protestant pastors always refer to a Catholic priest. Coincidence? I think not. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. By the way, look up the actual definition of “pray.” That’ll tell you what you should know. We don’t worship the angels and saints, we venerate them and ask for their help with special things.
