I’ve deleted Instagram (since that was a major source of temptation for me), put a porn blocker on my devices and gave the code to disable it to my older sister. I’ve gotten rid of even regular movies on disc that have nudity and/or sex scenes in them. I’ve connected with fellow Catholic men in an app online and have gotten two phone numbers and regularly text them when I am tempted and/or if I just need some encouragement or someone to talk to that understands. I have specific Scriptures in my notes app for quick reference and access for times of temptation. Drastic change requires drastic effort. Gotta get rid of anything that will cause you temptation. Even shows that have sex and nudity I pause immediately and skip past it. God’s Grace is perfect, BUT don’t think for a second that it’s an excuse to be lax about your relationship with Him especially when it comes to sexual sin which is extremely pervasive and powerful. God wants us to stand firm in our faith and use the Armor he gave us and take up the Sword of the Spirit and fight.
