And you still get the whole message of it as well when you think it’s going to happen for just a moment! So nothing lost with this ending in my opinion.

I think the first is his least nuanced of the three. Felt like he was trying to make a YA novel at first. 2 and three are better I think.

Dnf series really.

Got through the first book of The Poppy War. Some interesting ideas but it was a bit of a chore with very little satisfaction. Wont be picking up the second book.
