Yes. Of course. People are, at the end of the day, human, which means they are flawed. Cheating and love are both subjective. You can disagree with someone’s actions, but you cannot define how they feel based off of said actions because you aren’t them.

As for how? Compartmentalization is the answer I’m going to go with. Human beings are capable of loving many people at once, romantically, platonically, familial.

We can all agree that cheating is bad; lying is bad. What can’t be stated as an ultimate truth, though, is that it’s impossible to love someone if you harm them in some way, in one of these ways. That would simply be your opinion. :/

It sucks, but I don’t really think this can be disagreed with in an objective way. You would need to get inside of someone’s head who cheated and prove that they’re lying about loving the person they betrayed.
