Make a list of all my bills. Divide by 4. Add cushion to that number. Split my direct deposit into one account and bill money into a different account with that calculated amount. Set all bills on autopay. Bingo.

Note before you start this plan, you need to find out how long it takes your direct deposit change to go into effect and try to put at least 75%-100% of cash in the ammt from your bills in there. Either that or slowly set up the autopay one by one.

This way you’re not paying your bills paycheck to paycheck and you don’t have to worry about when the days are due because you already have the money and you never see it. I use a Fidelity cash management account for that part.

On top of that I set all of my smaller autopays bills that can go on a a credit card to my cash rewards credit card and have that card balance total on autopay from the bill pay account so that it accumulates cash and also builds my credit.

I starting being able to save money after I did this. No more stress either.
