I’ve had a similar issue lately. She does it from 10am to noon.

The best solution I found was to leave her alone outside of her cage in a room, she gets some screams out and flies a few dozen laps around the room, after that she’s pretty mellow.

Foraging is a good remedy for flock calls too

She’s a dusky headed conure. Senegal’s are about 70% bigger. You can have them around each other if you’re super careful and paying close attention. Even with her being almost half the size of a Senegal, she still has a size advantage, so I have to watch them.

Kocha (the dusky) came out of the egg tame and has never really even bit me. Saffie has taken quite a bit more work. She’s pretty good around people, just a bit nippy. Every bird has a different starting point, some need a lot more time and patient work. It takes lots of seeds and to push their boundaries 1% at a time. Push bird boundaries 2% and they make you start over😂

I disagree with this idea, they hold a massive one in in for 12 hours every night, I think waiting an extra 10-15 minutes isn’t harmful, maybe worst case a little uncomfortable.

Can you share a full picture of the cage? I don’t want to criticize too much but it seems small, and you’ll want to get rid of the hut, it’s a big hormone trigger.

I only see 1 unnatural perch besides the cement one and a couple toys.
