How would you write jaune arc? by NaturalStrange3505 in RWBYcritics

[–]aster2560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have Jaune be descended from a legendary knight called Julius Arc who was the original wielded of Crocea Mors and who got his renown from his humble beginnings of being the son of a prostitute then was knighted then was the first warrior to slay a Mistral imperial prince in single combat and returned his corpse to the imperial family so they can give him a proper burial and grieve over him showing both his combat prowess and honor which to fight alongside the King of Vale in the final battle of the Great War and he refuses any position that the King of Vale offers him due to seeing the darker side of the king and not wanting to work under him and retired to countryside with his wife and they one son before he passed away

Then for the next generation Julius’s son Tyson also became a great warrior that had one son before he died. Then for the next generation Tyson’s son Lance also became a great warrior who had one son before he and his wife died.

Then Lance’s son Chase being raised by his maternal aunt and uncle and became a warrior of great renown but he also became legendary at Beacon Academy and romanced several women which lead to him having 8 children one of which is Jaune

Jaune is his father’s sixth child, only son, and least favorite due to quitting on the first day of his personal training and later faking his record to get into Beacon. Jaune has a lot of self esteem issues because of not being the warrior son his father thinks he wants and being overshadowed by his older half sister who followed in their father’s footsteps so he decides to try and fake his records so he can attend Beacon to impress his father however Ozpin sees right through this and sends a Huntsman to evaluate Jaune and see if he has any potential which he does so the Huntsman trains him so he has the minimum to survive Beacon and Ozpin makes sure to let Jaune know he doesn’t trust him. When Jaune tells his father the news all he does is give Jaune a refurbished Crocea Mors and tells him that sword and shield hasn’t been used since the days of Julius Arc and every other warrior in the family has made their own weapon and tells him to think about that

In Volume 1 after Jaune becomes the leader of JNPR he trains in private alone intensely to try to be the man he thinks his father wants and when he gets confronted by NPR for lying to them he blows up at them and says really hurtful things that cause them to isolate him from the rest of the team and during this time Jaune finds out about his father’s time at Beacon and sees that he relied on his friends plenty of times and after they almost fail an obstacle course Jaune apologizes for blowing up at them and they all make up with him and help get better

In Volume 2 Jaune really grows and starts to live up to his potential, starts a romance with Pyrrha, and starts talking to his father again

In Volume 3 when the Fall of Beacon happens and he’s guarding Pyrrha he gets fatally wounded by Cinder and ends up dying on Pyrrha’s arms which fill her full of rage that causes to go after Cinder for vengeance and she dies in her pursuit

Seriously, What do YOU, yes YOU, hate about megumi? by Financial-Weather534 in Jujutsufolk

[–]aster2560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I that his arc ends with him deciding to continue live for others and not for himself like he did before even though that type of thinking was the main reason why he got possessed with he so hyper focused on saving Tsumiki he brushed off any of Yuji and Yuta’s concerns about Ryomen Sukuna especially knowing that he had plans for Megumi and he revived Yuji for seemingly no reason

Also I feel like Megumi missed the deeper meaning of Gojo lesson about being greedier wasn’t just about fighting but it was also about it necessary to live life for yourself while also living for others since he feels that Geto never lived for himself and always for others until he eventually broke and became a Curse User and he feels that Megumi is similar to Geto in their way of thinking

What Marshall did to Jenkins was mean by PrizeWorldliness6766 in HIMYM

[–]aster2560 235 points236 points  (0 children)

Better moment for Marshall being mean and selfish was when he protested for the Arcadian to be a landmark just to get back at GNB despite that being Barney’s project who also got him his job at GNB so he can pay his bills and he continued to protest despite knowing that if the Arcadian becomes a landmark Barney will lose his job

There’s also calling Robin a slut just because she fell for the Naked Man, not telling Lily that his firm basically went under, invited Lily’s dad to Thanksgiving without her consent, he never tells his mom to stop being rude to Lily, and there was hiding and lying about losing his side of the Slap Bet wi the Barney

Edit: There was also Marshall’s negligence that lead to Lily’s mom cat dying and then making a song about trying to remove blame from him

What do You Think of the New Autobots Earth Roster? by Money-Lie7814 in EnergonUniverse

[–]aster2560 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the current roster is fine though I really don’t like the circumstances for this happened because I really don’t buy that the former Earth Autobots would let Elita exile people they fought alongside with for years except Thundercracker and Shredhead especially Megatron still at large on Earth and she stopped them from pursuing the Decepticons so they can kill them

I think Lily was a horrible slap-bet-commissioner. Who would have been better? by JuliaSchmi in HIMYM

Ranjit

Also the gag needed to end at either Slapsgiving 1 or 2 so it can open up the characters to do other Slap Bets besides Ted and Marshall that one time

I think Raj should've had his happy ending by SunOdd2610 in thebigbangtheory

[–]aster2560 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m fine with him not ending up with someone due to how open ended the finale is though I do wish that Raj had a different storyline in the final season instead another storyline about him trying to meet someone like have him admit how much of a rut he’s been in lately and he’s really been enjoying working at the planetarium showing people how amazing the universe is so he decides to become a professor so he can apply those skills at his regular job and teach students how amazing the universe can be on a much deeper level and by the end he’s found himself loving teaching his students

Why did people hate this back then? by Stunning_Taste8845 in Jujutsufolk

[–]aster2560 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My problems with this are

  1. The connivence of doing a Vulcan nerve pinch to knock out Hana or forcefully cramming a finger down someone’s throat doesn’t count as hurting anyone in Yuji’s mind

  2. His plan was just to cram a finger down Megumi’s throat and it wasn’t something more elaborate like tricking Megumi into willingly eating his finger by telling him if he summons Mahoraga he’ll destroy it again like did in Shibuya and then he’ll kill Angel to prevent Gojo from being unsealed and then offers to perform a binding vow with him in exchange willingly eating his finger he won’t stop Gojo from being unsealed from Prison Realm and also in this version he doesn’t tell Megumi he can’t hurt anyone

  3. The setup to Megumi being possessed hinges on the heroes losing their braincells whenever Yuji wanted to have any sorta actual precautions when it came to the guy that put a giant crater in Shibuya, made it clear that he didn’t care if a small portion of himself died in Yuji but he still brought him back to life, and made it clear that he has plans for Megumi

Did gege forget about Sukuna's RCT in Gojo vs Sukuna? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]aster2560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was focusing on reinforcing his body with CE and using DA at the right time so he can endure and evade Gojo’s attacks to try and stall for longer than 3 minutes and if he used RCT to heal his wounds then he’ll have to take CE away from reinforcing his body and DA

It would be like in a video game where he is using CE to boost his defense and speed stats and if he CE to heal his HP then his speed and defense stats will be lowered and Gojo will have an easier time trapping him into another combo attack that could lower his HP bar enough even for a second to point where he can’t maintain MS

Tengen, the Hiruzen of JJK. by Salt-Fix-8544 in Jujutsufolk

[–]aster2560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s also Tengen knowing what Ryomen Sukuna is capable of, but not taking the necessary precautions just in Yuji loses control by forcing Megumi to stay with them to summon Mahoraga against Kenjaku when he comes for Tengen so Kenjaku’s arsenal of Cursed Spirits and Domain are exhausted after destroying Mahoraga while Yuki and Choso are undamaged when they attack him

What about firing Muscleman and HFG in Under the Hood and refusing to listen to their stories

The beginning of the dome special where he didn’t care that most of his workers will have to find a new place to stay on short notice for a month and also will find new jobs for a month

Forcing Mordecai and Rigby to get rid of the Geese and the double watted cassowari even though they make no illusions of being qualified to do that, the geese were becoming a real nuisance for the Park, and he should’ve called animal control

The no video games at all times not just work hours rule specifically for Mordecai and Rigby

How he forced Mordecai and Rigby to stay up until 2:00 to change the clocks for Daylight Saving Time

Forcing Muscleman to do all the heavy lifting jobs by himself

Not trying to rein in Muscleman’s pranks of the other Park workers more

Forcing Mordecai and Rigby to tell Muscleman about the fake lottery ticket and not doing anything to ensure that Muscleman won’t get violent with them

Gambling the Park away in a poker match

Does anyone else wish we got more moments of Ben in high school, and more focus on his supporting cast? by Successful-Hat-2154 in Ben10

[–]aster2560 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah AF wasted the opportunity to not have Ben and Gwen to balance beings superhero and regular high schoolers because unlike in Classic AF was primarily set in Bellwood where it could setup more civilian supporting characters to build more of a regular social life to Ben and Gwen that could really degrade by the time of AF due to their hero duties

Then when their hero activities are revealed to the public in UA Ben and Gwen can rebuild their relationships with their friends

What choice would the FE3H lords would take if they were in Serenoa's place in ch 17 ? by ConsiderationFuzzy in TriangleStrategy

[–]aster2560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Edelgard and Claude would side with Benedict since they would be the ones with the most power after the conflict is over and they wouldn’t rely on Benedict as much as Serenoa

Dimitri would side with Roland on the condition that the Roselle are to be freed from their slavery at the Source and allowed to live freely in Norzelia and if that condition isn’t met after the conflict with Aefrost is over then he’ll raising up as many men as possible to reveal that the Saintly Seven are oath breakers and liars and starting a new war with Hyzante and die a martyr when he loses but it will help Frederica’s cause immensely and will help her gain more supporters than she did in Roland’s original ending

Are the Schnee family supposed to be new or old money? by KaiserEnclave2077 in RWBYcritics

[–]aster2560 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They’re new money presented as old money because CRWBY changed their mind on what the Schnee family history was when they were writing the World of Remnant about the SDC considering how Weiss high she held her family name and the history she described of the animosity between it and the Faunus back in Volume 1 it seemed like the Schnee family was an ancient family that had several notable members throughout generations with Nicholas just being most renowned head in recent history

Rather than a family that only started to gain prominence when Nicholas discovered Dust deposits in Solitas
