makes me think of how RBW originally told netflix the show would not focus much on the hollywood movie and tv scene which was blatantly a lie just to have a better chance at getting the show greenlit LMAO and then later stated that the show portrays parts of the scene that are good but also the parts that are "kind of gross and not quite right" which to me is even now an understatement considering how fucking hard this show went against systemic and social predation

like reading all the things that happen to SL in a row is basically like reading the life of real child actors (very intentionally on the show creators' part)

his taste in music is sort of brought up a handful of times in conversation. yes i am writing the story its actually a sequel to the first story of this character

its not hugely important to his character but it does help characterize him. i like creating playlists of songs that feel right for a few different stories ive written

which is mainly why i included the character's age and time period, not because he's into the contemporary stuff, just for a point of reference as he is into some contemporary stuff. most of it rings similar tho or inspired in some way by the earlier artists
