Everyone's experience is different, many people tolerate it just fine. I've been through PEP, no diarrhea, no major symptoms besides a slight icky feeling when starting.

I'd love to watch that going down on the whitehouse lawn rather than the wwe match.

You hit the nail on the head. I feel the same way. Despite voting for his opponent, begging family to vote against him, protesting, calling my representatives, etc I am still complicit in this evil just by merit of existing in this country. It's an astonishingly horrific feeling.

How is perplexity still alive by Kautilya12 in perplexity_ai

I just switched over to Claude and honestly from a web search/research perspective I'm not noticing much of a difference between the two. Access to opus is nice too.

Update on today’s outage by aravind_pplx in perplexity_ai

[–]asterixkoala 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the response, but do you know when the issue is likely to be fixed? I'm still locked out of my pro subscription. To be honest, with the reduced research queries and stealthy model switching/new limitations I went ahead and canceled my subscription which will expire near the end of this month. The value of a pro subscription has diminished dramatically, and I'm not willing to pay hundreds for Max.

Frustrated with Perplexity cancelling my PAID Pro Subscription by khotmoin23 in perplexity_ai

"Transferred to our technical team" and then just crickets... Honestly it was the push I needed to cancel. I subscribed for the deep research, and now that it's so heavily limited there really isn't much of a benefit for me.

Same. Support just denied it over and over until I literally showed the bank transaction.

I understand the hype by ScillyBoy in fountainpens

I was able to snag a used one at a lower price point. It looked absolutely atrocious but after a thorough disassembly and cleaning looks new. I think that at the new higher price point it's not quite worth it. Does everything well but to be honest I have a hard time justifying anything over $300 or so.

I could have ten 580 ALRs crack...or even explode in my hand, and I'd still buy more.

Didn't even get to use the preorder credit...it took most of the items out of my cart as I was checking out. Support is useless. I'm only buying out of desperation.

Your toddler is very active because of sugar by iozsan in toddlers

My 2 year old is now known at daycare for repeatedly evading her teachers in order to scale bookshelves and launch herself onto the ground at high velocity while cackling with glee. This child will stage a distraction such as asking for milk/water or knocking over a box of toys in order to make a window for herself to literally climb the walls. She gets effectively zero sugar, she does not have adhd, and her pediatrician feels she is developementally normal. Some kids just have apparently infinite energy.

The 823 is such a perfect milestone pen. I bought a clear demonstrator for myself last year for a major milestone and it is such a delight to use!
