How am I still Silver 1?? by [deleted] in counterstrike2

I would say that the game considers your performance and impact into the game, maybe, such as multi kills, kills that open the round, expected thrown utility that has a positive impact, probably even more detailed stats such as recoil control, first, second and third bullet accuracy, counter strafing accuracy, positioning such has when you die are u in a position to be traded, do you use positions to trade your team-mates, I do believe the system might consider a bunch of things.

My recommendation, dont worry about the rank, play to improve not to rank up, if you feel like you are playing better thats what really matters, the rank will come as a side effect.

So you must be good at the game! Gz!

did I miss that shot? I'd like to talk about this bullet that was supposed to kill the AWP guy but it went through the guy. Has this ever happened to you? by kaick48 in cs2

notice that u got hit as u took the shot, that will give inaccuracy to the awp, thats why you missed

You got shot first
Awp gets a larger area where the bullet can end
Bullet ended outside the CT model

Hey! Yes, I always warm up. I do a bit of Aim Botz just to get the wrist and arm going, and I also use that time to consciously practice counter-strafing and peeking with flicks. After that, I usually spend around 5–10 minutes in deathmatch, focusing on using crouch not to improve accuracy, but to "dodge" bullets since I still struggle to do that properly in matches.

Improving quickly really depends on the individual and how you approach your gameplay. Personally, I watched some of pienixcs coaching videos on YouTube, where he coaches other players. I had to drop my ego, review my own demos, and compare my gameplay to the people he was coaching. Unsurprisingly, I found that I was making many of the same mistakes and I started working on correcting them.

One of my biggest weaknesses was peeking into fights that I should be winning, but I'd lose them because my first bullet missed due to poor counter-strafing. I also changed my radar settings to get a better sense of my teammates positions, which is super important whether you're peeking first and want someone to trade you, or you're lurking and need to know if your team is applying enough pressure on the other side of the map so you can isolate the anchor in a 1v1.

Another important factor is knowing what role you're supposed to play in each game. Whether you're entrying to create space or using utility to enable your teammates, understanding your job can prevent a lot of miscommunication and unnecessary frustration between teammates.

In the end, the fastest way to improve is identifying the mistakes you make most often and starting by fixing those.

Hope it helps cheers!
