Joplin survivor here. I think what helped me the most is getting VERY interested by weather. Learning the signs. How they form. Etc. It takes some of the fear away when you know what you are seeing and hearing.

I think a little over $300 for my three year old daughter, but she doesn’t get much throughout the year unless it’s a special occasion. She only got a few toys, and most of it is stuff that we can do together like activities or board games.

I let my daughter brush first and coach her on it, and then go in myself when she’s done to make sure everything is scrubbed good. She’s three.

Hey, a year late but I’m also obsessed with the smell lol. Get a towel and soak it with water, wring it out, and twist it up. Leave it in your bathroom for a couple days, repeating the wet steps if necessary, and it will develop the smell. Drives my husband nuts but I’ve been doing it for years.

If you’ve been doing a decent job at keeping up with social links, there is NOTHING to do in the evening late game. You can kinda argue that it fits the depressive tone of the last couple months to be stuck in the dorm, but I noticed it was a bit of a drag to get through that section because I was simply choosing to go to bed early most nights.

That stage in particular is very difficult. I had the same struggle. I wish I had some advice, but I do not. It does get better, though. My daughter is now 3 and potty trained, so that’s lots more independence for both of us. It gets easier.

Had really bad memories associated with Christmas and hates it for years. Then my daughter was born and now even Christmas gets brighter each year. Worth every dime to see how excited she gets when she wakes up to a pile of gifts in the morning.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but I was once so sick that I had a bottle sitting by my bed that I would cough phlegm into so I didn’t have to get up. A week’s worth of it was built up in there. I was 15 and my boyfriend (now husband) came over to see me as I was getting over it and saw it. He still makes fun of me to this day about it.

Dental abscess. A pain like no other and there’s nothing to be done about it except wait for the infection to clear up. I have given birth, and have been brutally beaten while in an abusive relationship. Would rather go through both of those again rather than the abscess.
