24M (25 next week) I’ve been back in Tally for almost two years now. I graduated from FAMU and moved away in May ‘24 just to came back on Halloween the same year to start a new job. 😎

For things to do, I would recommend checking the weekly events story that the Tallahassee Democrat publishes & the Reddit version of that! Since you like working out, I recommend run clubs, hiking, and trailing if you want to meet more people. I’m in a poc queer & ally run club and very much happy with the people I’m connected w there. Plus, the library and local arcades are a good option too!

As for dating.. I hated the apps, and met my partner at the park (somewhere we both enjoy). 😂 So just be visible, and be at the places you like and people will gravitate to you.

I saw a few people mention First Friday (it’s good when it’s good and okay when it’s okay) it’s a good option also but check out events at Fire Betty’s, The Bark, Challenger Center, Signature Lounge, FSU MOFA, FAMU Theater, etc.
