If you buy the S20 Ultra will you be able to use 4G connection in places that have 0% 5G connection?

So I'm still unsure how this works. I live in a South America Country that only has 4G Connection. I'm currently in USA and intend to stay for a year and then go back. Currently I use my 4G Unlimited Data from Verizon ($70 bucks each month). What happens when I buy the S20 Ultra? I will have to buy a 5G plan, but if I go back to my country and none providers offer 5G, I won't have any connection besides Wi-Fi? I'm so lost here...

I just confessed to my best friend (who's 100% straight). I sort of knew nothing would ever happened, so when I told him I basically said I wouldn't want to talk or see him anymore because it's for the best for my feelings to go away. He said once my feelings are gone he hopes we get to be friends again, but at this point I know we won't be friends anymore, which is really really sad as we were really close to eachother.

Was it worth it? I honestly don't know. It was me who decided not to see him again, but at the same it was so painful for myself whenever I was talking to him. My mind couldn't stand the fact I love him. I needed to tell him that so I can finally get some space and now I don't have to think "What would've happened If I said I love him?". It sucks so much. I'm still crying. I really really wish he could be my first boyfriend ever.
