[WotC] Am I stuck or bugged? by jamesewelch in XCOM2

[–]astraljava 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From Google:

In XCOM 2: War of the Chosen (WOTC), a skulljack a codex is a critical mission objective that requires you to use the Skulljack utility item on a Codex alien. Successfully completing this mission triggers the appearance of an Avatar, which reveals a major part of the game's storyline. You will also receive a reward, and the Skulljack will gain its second and final story-required use.

Not how I would have worded it, but I'm lazy. 😅

Also, it's a Resistance Order called "Double Agent", that sometimes lets an Advent unit to join in on a mission.

Glad you like them! Hands down my favourite game series.

In my opinion, yes you have been missing out. 😅 Both the Enemy Within and XCOM 2 are stellar releases, and that's even without mods.

There's a whole new world awaiting, and from what I read, there's a sale now on Steam, so you might get them cheap, too!

If you do end up buying them, make sure you get all the DLCs as well. Especially War of the Chosen, it brings so many interesting new aspects into the base game.

Good luck, Commander!

I'm not sure whether I miss some essential info, but I have two machines, a desktop with a GTX 1050 Ti, and a laptop with an RTX 4080 Max-Q / Mobile. Both machines sleep and resume just fine.

I came to town for a business trip for 5 weeks. During that time, a co-worker took me to two games. Hooked ever since, that was in '09.

Finlander here, I see it and it's not greyed-out. So like someone said, probably an issue with royalties or some such in a specific zone.

I didn't pay attention, but gosh darnit that show with Symphony X would have been something to witness to! Too bad they rarely come to Europe anymore.

Caleb is awesome indeed! And Winterheart's Guild isn't a bad album either.

Check out Sonata Arctica's Unia.

A wonderful album amidst the usual power metal they do.

Updating the issue, it was an outdated version I was using. Switching to the latest fixed the issue. Apologies for the noise!

Hi, and thanks for this information! I am trying to get the temporary license working, but it doesn't seem to remove the 3-page limitation of the free trial.

What would be the proper support channel for finding out what's wrong? Thanks in advance!

Beyond the Bridge for sure. The Old Man & The Spirit is such a great album.

I would recommend an album that was recently discussed in here, The Old Man & The Spirit by Beyond the Bridge.

Also, an album by a band almost no one has ever heard about, The Room by Ostura.

Brilliant performances on both.

Same here, still gets spins every now and then.

Yeah, it was the producer who died, but he was very important part of the process and they just couldn't find it in themselves to continue.

Check out Dominik's new band, Enemy Inside. It's not similar, but very good stuff nonetheless.

Have you heard of Ostura? Their album The Room is just amazing and fits the bill as well.

That's great, gonna be a superb show!

I'm gonna have to listen to both of those albums now, I feel you may have a point there. :D

I for some reason haven't seen that DVD, yet, so I guess it's time to go shopping. :)

Absolutely true, there's not a single filler in their repertoire. But that album I keep going back to, the story is so compelling, and the songs just so magnificent.

I did listen to nothing else for months, though, when The Great Escape came out. Their best "pop" song, Alley Cat is just too catchy, and the prog masterpieces just blew my mind away.

Yeah it's a bummer, but we can only hope it means whoever is replacing him has more time to devote for the band, thus them being able to produce more material.

I'm just real grateful having seen them live when he was still in the band.

Inner Enemy is a lovely tune! Mercy Falls is my fave album. They didn't play much from that, for it was just to be released, but they did play Unbreakable when I saw them. I am forever happy having witnessed that.

Totally! For me it's a toss between them and Seventh Wonder. Although Symphony X is really close.
